This small restaurant has maintained its quality of food and a quiet elegant ambience. The pastas, thin crust pizzas and the tiramisu are highly recommended. And of course the complimentary bread basket.

THE KASBAH.Is a smart+fashionable indian/tandoori restaurant in the smart "burb of south Delhi.Exotic setting on 3rd floor of building in busy mall, with 2 other eateries below. The food was fine the service great but a little expensive all considered. It was more like eating in an Indian restaurant in London or New York.Designer decor and emphasis more on style rather than the food. Please delhiites if you are entertaining a foreigner, dont imitate our boring western snob standards,be a little more ethnic and funky. This establishment impresses insecure locals but depresses clever foreign foodies comme moi.

Tried the Indian Restaurant and believe me, it was just amazing. The Malai Koftas just melt in your mouth. The Hara Bara Kababs were superb. I will visit Kasbah on my other trips to India and it happen to be located where I lived earlier, a couple of years ago.

This is a restaurant complex in Delhi's upscale GK Market in South Delhi. The different restaurants serve different cuisines. We first went to the bar lounge Manekin, which was very good, with a huge live bar and the bartenders serving cocktails. The snacks made for great munching. After that we headed to Zaffran, the Indian restaurant on the terrace. They have an open kitchen, which is rather entertaining and reassuring to see. The service was great and there were some innovative dishes like mushrooms with corn kernels in an Indian gravy that I had not had before. While we were there it started raining and the restaurant has a lot of glass walls and roof, and it was a surreal experience to be eating sitting in a gazebo kind of setting, enjoying the rain on all sides. A must visit -- especially when it's raining! The manager told us that as soon as it starts raining they put reserve signs for their regulars, who just arrive one-by-one to enjoy the food in this setting.
