The Rogan Josh is terrific! This place offers little in the way of ambience for tourists. Basically it's a bare-bones set of tables with not much in the way of fans and no AC. The food, however, was great! Choose a cool day!

This amazing place has really taken my heart. One of the most unique place in town.

They have the best ambiance. Best service and staff and of course the best food in town.

Loved their butter chicken and dal makhani.

Best Quality and Best Quantity.

Surely Recommend

A very historic, famous and talked about place in the old walled city of Delhi, in the narrow crowded lanes behind Jana Masjid. The approach from main road in front of the Red Fort is via Auto or rickshaw. You've to disembark on the road head and walk through very narrow lane to reach this group of three restaurant in a small viaduct. Beware of honking motorcyclists and cycle peddlers whizzing past you. Usually the popularity is such that you've to stand in the que for a good length of time . The sitting is like old school classroom , with possibility of sharing the table with unknown people. Privacy is zero. The cacophony and the din is unsettling for a first timer. The service fast(because the turnover is important) but the hygiene suspect. If one is puritanical and a knit picker, it's better as used to avoid such a crowded place . The menu is copious and the names difficult to memorise. The roti spread is elaborate with naan, roti, roomali , khameeri naan and lacchha paratha et Al. The gehlauti is average, the chicken and mutton stew oily and very thin in consistency. The gravy keeps spilling over. The temperature inside in summer months can be quite hostile . The overall experience was below average and much below the expectations. The restaurant is carrying in regardless because it's accumulated a name and brand over the years. There is nothing very exciting about the whole experience. There can be difference if opinion, but for me definitely it's a a no show. Avoidable .

I've been to Karim's multiple times and I can say that it is the best non-veg restaurant in Delhi.

It really is kind of hidden gem in Old Delhi not just because it is hard to find.

I've tried chicken burra, chicken stew, Mughlai mutton, mutton jahangiri as mains.
All was delicious.
Mughlai mutton is good but mutton jahangiri has better taste and spices.
Chickens are also good you can try chicken jahangiri also.
For bread, if you like the sweet taste you should try sheermal otherwise go with plain Naan which is cooked and served only for you after your order.
