I have ordered ordered 6 to 7 non veg items but none of them are good, except one kabab item. it seems they are using the old fame but nuow it is not upto the mark in quality and even simple hospitality. the quality is very bad. the local non fame hotel items are very good than karim hotel.,

“delhi best food option”

it is located in the lanes of Old Delhi near grand Jamia Masjid. It is a good option for authentic Mughlai food.

this place is over 100 years old and located in a crowded area near Jama Masjid(Gate no:1). this place has been serving mouth watering authentic Mugal cusine over a century. the place is a little hard to find as the area has small lanes and very crowded also their are a lot of FAKE Karim's operational in the are. ull find this one near Gate No:1 of jama masjid. this place is truely a paradise for Meat eaters where you will find hundred of options in starter, curries, main course, breat etc..

PS: This place is mostly crowded be it lunch time or dinner. their are waiting lines and some times it takes 30-40 mins in waiting line to find a seat. So please visit this place when you have atleat 2 hours to spend.

“Tradition since centuries”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 24, 2014

A small eatery located in the lanes of Old Delhi beside the grand Jama Masjid. It is a paradise for authentic Mughlai cuisine of north India. Many believe, that the chef's ancestors were once the cooks of the royal kitchen of Red Fort since the Mughal era and their legacy follows
Although the seating and dining ambience is ordinary, the taste of the items and secret recipes are worth the value.

“Doesn't look much, but tasty...”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 22, 2014

Amid the madness surrounding the Jama Masjid area and nearby streets of Old Delhi this is somewhat of a gem (a gem that wouldn't have been found without a Lonely Planet guide book and, even then, without a helpful local chap). It has a bit of an English 'greasy spoon' look to it with the plastic seating, but the Mughlai cuisine was absolutely superb. Paratha stuffed with potato was a particular highlight - it's worth the hassle to get to.
