The milling crowds, the spicy food, the fantastic queue management and the glorious taste of AP Bhawan food is truly a experience from heaven. Not the most eye-candy amongst restaurants, but there are very little to compete with it on taste.

PS: One of the secrets behind AP Bhavan Canteen - There is a store from AP Cooperative Stores that sells Sona Masoori Rice in Delhi - do get it !!

I was introduced to this Andhra Mess by a south-Indian college friend. And though I have never had Andhra food anywhere else (so that I could compare), I still like the quality and quantity of the food. The most impressive thing is the no-limit-Ghee that you can pour over your Rice or Curry or Chutney or anything. I am never able to comprehend the name of the dish or the ingredients but being an exploratory vegetarian; I like it each time I go there.

The minuses here are that its difficult to get parking, then the queue to wash hands or use the toilet is long and then the basin-tap-toilet is at its utmost Indian unclean. I wonder whether my hands were cleaner before washing at such a basin. That is why considering these facilities, I believe this per-head unlimited-food is a little over-priced.

I love this place.....One of my senior colleague took me their for a treat and since then i have been a regular there.....Breakfast with coffee is good if you have time in morning else Lunch time unlimited Thali is worth it.......Be on Time else u will be there in a long queue...And if you are Non Vegetarian just ask for the Non veg dishes and u will love it......Have a taste of Thali with Ghee and Gunpowder at Table. They server Tasty Dinner too..If you are free on Sunday then have their Biryani in Hydrabadi Style and u will never forget the taste. Dum Biryani LOvers may not like it but it has its own unique taste.

Cost is very low as compared to other good eateries around. Don't expecta good ambience as you wont get it. Its just the foo dthat is good and nothing else. Service is speedier for first time but forrefills u might have to wait.

PLace mostly packed so try to be early to avoid hassels.

I often visited this place with my friends and the food quality is great. It's one of the best places to eat in Delhi and also cost effective. At that time they used to serve the Thali for around 70Rs and it was more than worth it. I'd not recommend the non-veg options that they provide and try to stick to the thali that they provide. One downside with the place is the waiting time, if you are visiting this place between 1-3 PM (office lunch hours) than you are in for very long waiting time (20-30 mins) and it's crowded on those timings as well, but thats the price you can pay for good food. However try avoiding those timing if with family, at dinner timings the place is very less crowded though.
