Larry's china has always had a speacial place in my heart. Being a foodie, i have always looked for good quality food. Situated in ambassador hotel. This restraunt is related to my childhood and im filled with nostalgia. The food , is no doubt the best chinese food i have ever had. Even though we order a different dish everytime we go there, we are never dissappointed. The staff is very welcoming and have smiles on their faces with an extremely hospitable nature . The hotel and its restraunts have an old english aura to it, which adds up to all the good things. There is live music every alternate day and the guy plays fantastic classics. Back to the food. I have eaten some authentic chinese food and i think larry's china seems good competition to all.
Keep it up ! We love you <3

I visit Larry's China regularly ever since its inception and have many good meals there with family and friends. I was rather sad to notice its steep decline in the quality of food and service when I visited last evening for dinner. My order was changed, food served was undercooked and there was nobody to serve for quite a while to serve food but the silver lining is that the reastaurant manager and Mr Naresh conveyed apologies and promised better service in future. A foodie lives in hope!

On a recent visit to Delhi we were taken out for dinner at Larry's China. We enjoyed the food and service so much we decided to host a family lunch - to celebrate my wife's 60th birthday which had been earlier in the year.
Our party of 12 (including a toddler) were treated to an outstanding afternoon. The service could not be faulted and the food was delicious. While we have not been to China we have frequented the China Towns of Liverpool and Soho, the food at Larry's was certainly up to these standards. The dimsums and the main courses were varied and very tasty. The Bullseye for dessert stole the show!
The restaurant was busy while we were there but despite this the service was prompt and attentive. Special thanks to Naresh for his efforts. Having discovered on the day that we were celebrating my wife's birthday (which had been in May) he immediately arranged for a birthday cake to be brought out at the end of the meal.
All in all a very enjoyable lunch and given the opportunity we would certainly visit again.

P.S. Last reviewer found problems with the toilets - the renovation must be complete as they were spotlessly clean and very luxurious.

The Taj Ambassador needs attention. We have been frequenting Larry’s China every month, ever since its inception. The head chef Mr Joshi and the head steward Mr Naresh take care of us us exceptionally.

We visited them yesterday. The hotel is being revamped. My father in law who needs to use the services often was informed that they are being renovated. The back up provided was over flowing with no janitor. This is the minimum level of cleanliness Taj can take care of. On addressing the same to the Duty Manager, we were informed that this situation was temporary. No sign of remorse or regret.

The staff evidently at the restaurant was less. The food in so many years took over 1 hour to come. After repeated reminders, when we felt embarrassed ourselves, as this is our regular family restaurant, we decided to give up. There was no service for water, seconds was very difficult.

I left yesterday for the first time without tipping the team.

There is a certain level of service and hygiene that the name Taj stands for. In case you are not able to live upto it, if you cannot redeem it, remove your label from it, before it mars your repuation any further.
