I stayed at this hotel in Jan 2012 and had a great experience at this hotel having stayed at several other hotels in the same area . If you are looking for budget hotel with good amenities then look no further. This hotel is ideally located right next to Adjmal Khan Road so perfect for shopping and eating out whilst being away from all the havoc. Staff were surprisingly knowledgable and helpful gave me advice in ENGLISH, on many things such as where to get the best rate for my currency to travelling at a reasonable price. As for my room, well a modest bathroom, modern decor and wifi was more to cater than I expected for a normal room. Management were very friendly and went that step further in helping me find my lost hand luggage at the airport even though I stayed in a basic room, now that is customer service !

Room Tip: Depends on your budget,

I stayed at the hotel twice this month for a total of five days. After having a room change due to a leaking sink and water on the floor, there were cockroaches in the new room. Staff was very attentive and sprayed right away. Rooms are roomy and look modern and clean. TV worked when electricity was on. Bring your flashlight ~ Indian electiricity is sporadic. There was no water one day due to repairs and no hot water on many days. If you need a shower from 10 PM to 7 AM ask them to turn on the hot water. It might work. Internet was down all the days I was there. Positives are the neighborhood which has lots of shops and street activity at night and two great restaurants - Aroma Spice and another one right next door. Staff friendly and tried to be accommodating.

Stayed at this 'hotel' in Jan, had originally booked for three nights but left after the first. We arrived to be given a standard room when we had booked a suite, the hotel charged double what booking.com reserved the room at. The rooms were unclean and unhygienic. I was bitten by bed bugs. The air conditioning did not work, shower did not work there was no hot water, staff were uncourteous especially the manager (a complete as*), the view from room was concrete at an arms length away, the room was freezing cold. Half the passage ways had mattresses around them looked like a total dump. We could not use the lifts as staff were using them to transport furniture. The pictures are a total misrepresentation, DO NOT STAY HERE!

The Apra International's owners (from Canada) are hands-on every day and it very much shows in the high standards of this exceptional hotel. The lobby is clean and safe. The bed is bright white and very comfortable. The bathroom is pristine and ultra-modern. Wi-fi that actually works is a delight! My laundry was done pretty well and priced reasonably enough, too.

When I was sick, I was relieved to find a nice (bland) pasta alfredo at the Pizza Hut that is 1.5 blocks from the hotel...a very good location. Four doors down is a spot for Ayurvedic massage, but I did not try it.

Easily best hotel for your money in the whole area. I don't think there is any other hotel in the vicinity that has rooms that are as nice at the rate they charge. I stayed here a few years back as well, and it has a totally new face lift.

The room service food is amazing, and also extremely cheap... Staff is very nice and accommodating.
