This place is very symbolic.
You can see Gandhi bedroom and the last steps of his life which are marked on the floor.
Also his tomb is there.
There is a museum which shows videos and pictures of this great man 's life.
I liked it, but you do not need to spend much time there in my opinion.

What a wonderful place!! So peaceful with lots of information about Ghandi. Saw where he lived and worked. The footprints of his last journey were very poignant . Very spiritual and could have spent longer there than we did.
A place to go to.

I was late to send my review but i always feel late better than never. Great Souls always left peace on earth and Mahatma Gandhi Father of the Nation for India was one of those great souls who achieved everything with peace and who left peace on earth. Great and soul touching expereince visiting Mahatma Gandhi Smriti and Rajghat as well. Visited with family in the early morning during May 2013 and was a very calm and peaceful atmosphere all around the place. It's a beautiful and lovely memorial where all the nation come and recollect his teachings and preachings while spending time around this place. Every Indian must spare time to visit this in a life time....Krishna Duvvuri

The house was full of interesting information about Ghandi's life as well as many quotes. The interactive exhibition upstairs also had some very beautiful displays. The garden is beautiful and the memorial where he was killed very special. This was our favourite place in Delhi
