Beautifully maintained. Lots of flowers...Long time ago I could freely walk upto the smriti...now there is a barrier around it...anyway, security I presume. The traffic at Delhi has eased a lot after the Commonwealth Games 2010...Enjoy!!!

“Great way to know more about Gandhi”
Reviewed January 3, 2013

First of all, this is the only free attraction we have done in India. The place is nice and interesting. There is memorial there at the place where Gandhi was assasinated and a museum depicting his life. Great place to visit.

“Best Mahatma Gandhi Attraction”
Reviewed January 1, 2013

If you are interested in Mahatma Gandhi, this is the place to visit. It's a quiet and peaceful place with extensive grounds. You will get an idea of how he lived his last days, where he stayed and his final steps are traced using concrete steps to the spot where he was assassinated. There's also a museum with extensive memorabilia and photographs of Gandhi throughout his life. This can be both a moving and inspirational place to be if you are an admirer of Gandhi. In our opinion, this is most definitely a better place to visit compared with Raj Ghat which is his cremation site.

Wonderful grounds and information depicting the last days of Gandhi's life. Very moving and a reminder of what a little man with big ideas can truly accomplish.

“A time for reflection”
Reviewed December 31, 2012

The sense of history and sadness was palpable. Go in the morning when you can walk in peace and reflect on this most important persons life!
