I went to Gandhi Smirthi hoping for a fitting tribute to a great man. The downstairs is well laid out, with a very watchable documentary, and a detailed description of both his life, last moments and personality. However I felt upstairs (the Eternal Gandhi Multimedia Museum) was completely over the top, with expensive computerized gimicks which I do not feel capture in any way, the message this great man was trying to convey.
Overall I came away feeling disappointed and a bit disillusioned as this state run facility (situated in an expensive Delhi suburb) can obviously afford a generator to run the expensive multimedia equipment upstairs yet many public hospitals in India cannot.
The experience left a bit of a bad taste in my mouth.

Feeling a little patriotic. The place is well kept and serene. Suggest all those who have not been here to feel teh experiance once. My kids liked it best. Remember gandhi and imbibe some of his values too!!

I recommend this place for someone who are familiar with Gandhi's life and believes. for them this place could be memorable. visiting Gandhi's last bedroom, pray room and reading about his struggles during his life were great.

I can't imagine travelling all the way to Delhi and not visiting Gandhi Smriti. You walk into this place and I suppose everyone feels something different...I felt very calm and peaceful. It was wonderful to look back on such a wonderful man's life and review his last few hours, to see his actual possessions. I felt very connected to Gandhi. Anyone and everyone should go and best of all - it is free! what a gift!
