We were mostly disappointed that although booking a double room, we were told these were fully booked so had to take a twin room then wait around to move rooms the following day. Hassle we could do without on a 3 night stay. The staff who sorted this gave us little options, and were not very helpful. Also the rooms were very small for the price paid. The final complaint was that the services offered by the hotel like taxis or tours were ridiculously overpriced. For example we got a cab from the airport to the hotel for 300 Rupees, and the hotel charge 1350 for the same journey to get back! Safe to say we just took a pre booked cab not through the hotel. Definitely won't be returning and disappointed in the service from such a big chain.

stayed for two nights on business, but had visited the bar the previous week and liked the location (apart from the building site outside). Very central, easy to nip out to eat etc. Ate in 59 the 1st night and very nice meal & service, wine very expensive per glass, Happy hour in the bar much better value, and the barman was a delight, very friendly and recommended two nice restaurants within walking distance. We arrived at 9.15pm and room not ready so was given complementary coffee while we waited and then because of the inconvenience upgraded to a club room, nice touch. Room large, shower amazing. One letdown was the towels, a let down looked old and grey. Shower leaked from the door so flooded the floor and no mat or hand towels to mop up so that was poor. Breakfast nice, could have had a few more choices for westerners but the service was good and waiters very helpful. The manager did come over to us on our last morning to check about our stay and i mentioned the shower and he said he would address it. Definately recommend the hotel and once Building finished outside it will be a better place.
