I was worried about how my husband and I would fare with a flight out at 2:00 am. Would we join the homeless on the streets of Delhi to pass the time until our trip to the airport? The check-in clerk had the perfect solution and it turned out to be the best $60 I've ever spent while on vacation. For an extra $30/ night (estimated) we upgraded to the executive floor. I'm not sure if that meant we had a nicer room, the room was beautiful, and we had a better view no doubt, but the kicker was that we didn't t have to check out until 6:00 pm, AND we were given use of the lounge, which was the PERFECT place to while away a few hours until we needed to leave for the airport. We ended up gaining an extra touring day because we could come back to the hotel and shower in the late afternoon, plus we save a lot of money on drinks and food since their free happy hour buffet provided just the right type and a,punt of Indian food for a light dinner, watching colorful parrots swoop and land on the ledge of the big windows offering a panoramic view.
The breakfast buffet, as others have mentioned, was stupendous. I also thought the location was perfect, I walked back from a prime shopping area, no problem. Oh, and the amenities? L'occitane.More
