This hotel is a good hotel to stop off after the long flight from the UK to India - we used this hotel 3 times. Its very clean and comfortable - nice bathrooms and the grounds are immaculate - and a pleasure to wonder round and stretch your legs. Nice relaxing swimming pool too.
The food is good - basic but still nice - a mixture of Indian and a few continental dishes.
The little shop is goo for last minute bargains and if they don;t have what you are looking for ask - he got us incense sticks when we asked. Staff very friendly and polite
Could do with a touch of paint and a bit if a facelift in some of the rooms but all in all a nice comfortable hotel - remember you are in India not Europe or the USA before you comment!!!

I was there for a business trip.Even the place is quite old and need to be refurbished, the staffs and services were superb and very friendly.

Breakfast from the buffet was ok but do not forget to try Fish tikka kabab with crispy garlic nan and paratha....soooo good

Lush green lawns. NIce open space around. Not a typical hotel look. Fairly cosy rooms. All in all what one would expect from a self respecting hotel. But the quality of the service wasn't up to the mark. I walked into the health-club at 7:30 am and found it locked. When I checked with the reception they said it opens only at 8 am! I told them it was a working day but all they did was shrug their shoulders! Most hotels would be happy to open it earlier for a guest but not here. What struck me was that they were pretty ok in doing the bare minimum, but ask for something that isn't what they're used to and they cite rules. Made me wonder what kind of hospitality paradigms they were following!

What was terribly annoying was the housekeeping boys chattering away in the corridors. A guest actually popped out of his room and requested them to 'keep quiet' but I guess they don't understand such sensitivities.

Don’t be misled by the name. “Country” refers to the fact it is not in a built up area which means going out for the evening into Old or New Delhi is not really practical. The “Resort” bit refers I suppose to the fact it has a pool so if you want to chill out before or after your flight it is possible. The hotel does lack atmosphere however but it is clean, the rooms are to the standard you would expect for a Western style hotel in India, the staff are friendly and the breakfast is quite acceptable. So if you have just arrived at the airport and need somewhere to catch your breath before starting your Indian odyssey or want to be in easy reach of the airport before going home, this hotel fits the bill but that's about it.

As above, don't really know the cost as it was through the group booking, but staff was helpful, gardens were great. newer rooms wer very good, older ones a bit mildewy smelling, ask to change if you don't like a particular room. very close to the new Delhi airport, but massive roadworks underway.
