As above, don't really know the cost as it was through the group booking, but staff was helpful, gardens were great. newer rooms wer very good, older ones a bit mildewy smelling, ask to change if you don't like a particular room. very close to the new Delhi airport, but massive roadworks underway.

The hotel is situated very close to the airport. We were picked up from the airport by their car which was an old banger but ok. Time to hotel was about 25 minutes. Road leading to the hotel was dug up and full of pot holes due to road works. Hotel itself very acceptable standard, but could do with a bit of TLC. Good breakfast and the evening buffet was good value. We had occasion to use the hotel twice and the second time we arrived late so used room service which was excellent. Pool and gardens are very pleasant. Staff are courteous and helpful.

Certainly, there must be a good reason to post a negative review – but perhaps some people simply expect too much from an airport hotel that caters for a specific niche… and sometimes, flight disruptions add to a customer’s irritation and disappointment. My wife and I have absolutely no complaints. Having visited Delhi for a couple of times, we decided to stay here right before and after our trip through the country and thought it to be the perfect choice to avoid the hustle and bustle of the city. OK, the staff didn’t pay very much personal attention to us, but all of them were friendly in a professional way – what more do you want? Efficiency? Well, this hotel is a well-oiled machine. We occupied a luxury premium room, which had every convenience a tourist could need. The room wasn’t particularly spacious, but it was more than adequate for a night’s sleep. The buffet in the restaurant upstairs caters for all tastes – implying it doesn’t serve the delicious Indian food we’ve enjoyed so much all over the country. However, we would definitely choose again for this hotel.

Hotel is small & clean but nowhere near the country so the hotel name is a little 'off'. Rooms are dark and quite small, wiring....dont touch it! every plug I tried went bang. The television didn't work, when asked at reception to have it fixed I was told the TV was not working in the hotel, next morning found out everyone elses did work, so not great on customer service. Buffet restaurant not too bad, but they do hold functions here and then the hotel concentrates on the function and second night food not too good. Breakfast very good. Near the airport so you dont have to sit in traffic for hours to get to the hotel, but you do have to sit in traffic for hours to get anywhere from the hotel. The road to the hotel has not seen a maintenance crew for many years so driving down it is very uncomfortable and at 2mph. Armed guards on the gates, and the first sign you see when entering hotel is 'arms & ammunition not allowed', not in the best part of the city. Nice to stay for 2 days but no more.

The Ashok Country Resort is fine, a little old and faded but with clean and spacious rooms with free wifi (get a code from reception) and a decent breakfast. It is set in quite nice gardens, has a swimming pool and is reasonably efficient. Not exactly luxurious but fine for our needs for a few nights on VJV's Images of India tour. It is convenient for the airport but in a scruffy area so don't expect to be able to stroll round outside the grounds and it is a fair way from the centre. On the positive side the staff are very friendly and respond well to out of the ordinary requests. Maintenance standards are somewhat ropey but that is nothing unusual for India.

I selected this hotel on the basis of the reviews given here on Trip advisor and I was not dissappointed. It was perfect as I was looking for something close to the airport as well as to Gurgaon and also a quiet and a beautiful place.
This is nice resort tucked away in a lane just off the main highway coming from Gurgaon and is near the airport. It is sarrounded by farms so is a peaceful place. On request they gave me a room overlooking the gardern and was spacious and equipped with all modern facilities. The staff was very courteous and extra friendly . they exuded a lot of warmth in their attitudes toward the guests giving that homely feel to the place.
The resort has a nice shop tucked away in a corner and has some interesting stuff including nice clothes. The food was good and room service was quite prompt. The buffet breakfast did not have a very wide variety but was good and they served some things hot on the table too. The travel assistance was also very good.
On the flip side, the TV in the room was not working...
On the whole a good experience though the Hotel was a little expensive but definately worth the price.

We stayed at this hotel as part of a tour. It wasn't very far from Delhi airport, which meant it was a fair way out of the main part of Delhi. Although we had a coach for most of the trip, we decided to go into Delhi one evening and it was quite a long car ride. The good thing is in Delhi you can hire a car for the evening for a reasonable price.

We found the hotel simple and a good 3 star hotel. Our room was comfortable and clean. The tea making facilities were good and we were given extra supplies when requested. The restaurant was pricey, but the food was average.
