The first impression itself puts you off. When I reached, there was a wedding crowd in the hotel driveway and lobby which was chaotic.... Complete lack of co-ordination between gatekeeper, bell boy and reception... To an extent that they use foul language on each other in front of guests. Really a lot to be desired on customer service... The hotel is basic but I must confess that the room I was in was a refurbished one and nice inside. The air con controls left to be desired.
The location is fantastic in south Delhi and right at a Metro station....so it can offer a lot of convenience depending on your purpose of visit and places you want to go..... No fresh juices served for breakfast !!

Room Tip: Avoid the one facing the Metro station

I was here on business, and my main gripes are over the somewhat idiosyncratic approach to meeting the needs of business guests (e.g. not having the beds removed from our 'meeting' rooms ahead of the 9:00 am Monday start). The front desk staff were generally helpful but could be a little surly - small things can make a big difference.

The room was basic, but clean and comfortable and cleaned daily to a high standard. Great to get two new bottles of water each day.

We were on the buffet tariff. Choice was not extensive, but the food quality was good and I'm pleased to report that I had no problems in the Delhi belly department during my one week stay. However, the accompanying music in the dining room will undoubtedly drive you mad if you are there for more than a couple of days. The muzak is on a very short loop, and is of the very worst variety. We asked whether it could be changed, but no I'm afraid you'll find yourself humming tunes you would rather have forgotten well into the following week.

The hotel is very well placed next to the metro, which will whisk you into the city centre in no time. The restaurants at Defence Colony are only a 5-10 minute taxi ride away if you want a little more variety or just need to escape Stevie Wonder singing 'I called to say I love you"!

If it was possible, I'd award the hotel 3.5 but I've given a 4 as I feel it's nearer to that than a 3. For tourists who want somewhere at a reasonable cost in a convenient location, I reckon it's a pretty good choice.

Arrived about 2am-seemed a little basic but it was a bed! Hotel has everything but is very tired-straight out of the '70's. It was the 1st hotel of the 12 on the trip and was perhaps expecting a little more but as the trip progressed it became obvious it was average for a city hotel.Handy for Metro but not much around.

Room Tip: Ok for a night

Very tidy and smart hotel with lovely modern rooms and clean bathrooms. There is also heating which is a novelty in India but very welcome as the weather was freezing whilst i was there. Food very good although menu limited but service could do with a brush up. Beds very comfortable.

Stayed here in Nov 2012. Across street from Metro station. Clean room, great water pressure and Breakfast was wonderful every day. There is a pool on site, outdoors and not heated. Beautiful restaurant. Less than 20km from airport (400 rupees for taxi)

This is a nice hotel with nice staff. It,s harder to find as it is not exactly on Ring Road as it says on its address. If you go to the Mulchand Metro Station you can find it. They need to have a larger sign that is visible from the road. The main feature is its very clean which is harder to find in India unless you are putting lots of money in.
