We spent a fantastic two days unwinding and romancing in the beautifully landscaped Dusit Devarana. The hotel is only about fifteen minutes from the International airport so we didn't have to struggle through the traffic to get into the middle of the city. Our taxi driver informed us that getting anywhere else in Delhi's mad traffic would've taken us at least 45 minutes. Also, the property is so luscious and green that the temperature dropped drastically as soon as we entered the hotel grounds.

Our room was really spacious with a great view of the tree cover right outside the floor to ceiling windows. We could even see squirrels and birds hopping about on the trees from the bed. It was so calming and relaxing after a busy few weeks planning the honeymoon trip.

We were upgraded to a pool access room on the second day and went for a midnight dip. The pool is a narrow channel with a canopy of overhanging greens which gives an impression of swimming in a secluded stream. Utterly romantic!

The food was par excellence and we never felt the need to venture out at all. We spent the day mostly walking the hotel grounds enjoying the ambient nature sounds and music or lounging in the hotel room which still brought the outdoors in.

Dusit Devarana was the perfect beginning of our Indian honeymoon.

Room Tip: The pool access rooms give you direct access to the beautiful pool from the porch outside your room...

we just stayed for 1 day with my special need child. the hotel has exotic design but absolute disregard for accessibility. the whole walkway inside the hotel is over the water and the wheelchair will get stuck in every foot because of the gap in stone slab. room entrance, corridor , restaurant entrance , everyplace is so narrow that you need to struggle to maneuver the stroller/wheelchair.

the most amusing part is service, every time we called room service, we waited 15/20mins and them call again. in room dining server came with food but no water or even glasses to drink. as we asked about the water, the response is, you have water bottle in the room and may be we need to use the glasses that are in the bathroom.

Dear Guest,

Namaskar!

Many thanks for your feedback and we appreciate the time you must have spent in writing the same. I am very perturbed to hear about the water service and order delay not being dealt aptly by the team members. I am investigating the matter and i will ensure remedial measures to avoid reoccurence for any guests in future. I sincerely apologize for the inconvienence caused.

With regards to the difficulities faced for the wheel chair access, We must appraise you about the exocticness and uniquness of the resort in terms of its look and feel and its architect. I am in complete agreement with you about the difficulities one can face while on the wheel chair. However, there are alternate ways within the resort to overcome the said matter. We have smooth corridors and many elevators for such situations and all our guests who are differently abled can visit each corner of the resort with our personalized assistance by our dedicated staff members. We look forward to welcome you back at the resort again.

This property is in the middle of Delhi-Gurgaon. Very near to international airport. Reaching there is very easy. With the entrance area you can not think of reaching fabulous place like this. Beautiful Architecture. (very different and soothing). It is different, as soon as you enter the entrance area. The entrance lobby and even before... water bodies everywhere...mean everywhere. Amazing mixtures of water bodies, landscaping and architecture. Rooms are real big. Service is generally very good, except we asked to redone pink pasta to add required gravy (expression were not welcoming). Good but really expensive spa. Pool was useably clean looking to the fact that it is in open below trees and length is 102 meters. Food is really expensive with almost Rs 3000 per person per meal without drinks. Almost the same cost as the room for a day. When we stayed it was rainy day... as we moved in the hotel found many places where do to water effect the floor was wet and there were MANY A TIMES when I almost slipped. To save ultimately i had to keep my hotel slippers in my hand. It was my wife's birthday...they put a cake in the room which was almost 2 inches but 8 inches size almost 2-3 pastries size. what a pity. First time in my life i saw such a cake from the hotel.

Room Tip: All rooms are good if swimming freak take pool rooms.

Dear Guest,

Namaskar!

Many thanks for your feedback and we appreciate the time you must have spent in writing the same. I have gone through your feedback and we do understand your concern for prices at the restaurant and at the spa. However, we must appraise you that our food quality is farm fresh and there is a lot of investment done behind that to ensure that our valued guests get farm fresh organic food which should be tastefull and healthy altogether. Our spa pricing is quite similar to many luxury hotels and you are most welcome to enroll for the discounted spa membership program which will definitly allow you to use it at special discounted prices. We do understand your concern for slippery floors but would like to appraise you once again about the look and feel of the resort which is quite open and full of nature and hence there are certain elements which adds to the effect which is prone to weather conditions at times only but not regularly. We truely understand your concerns and will be happy to have you back wtih us at Dusit Devarana New Delhi- A luxury resort in the heart of New Delhi.
