We happened upon this historical mosque while walking around the Purana Qila area on Mathura Road. This mosque was built in 1561 by Emperor Akbar's wet nurse and remains a working place of worship to this day.
We enjoyed seeing the ruins on the outside, providing context to the age of this structure. The inside area of Khair-ul-Manazil was ok to visit, there is a nice large dome, making this a decent added attraction if you plan to visit the more ancient (old fort) area of the city, known as Purana Qila. There is also a decent area just beyond the walls of the mosque known as Sher Shah Gate that is worth a stop as well.
Overall, not an individual priority visit while in Delhi but worth a quick look of you plan to be in this area to visit the Purana Qila area.
