Bed and Chai is a wonderful guest house in South Delhi. I enjoyed staying here a as solo female traveller. It is a good getaway from the 'full-on-ness' that is Delhi but all tourist attractions and other places can easily be reached by tuk-tuk, taxi or Metro. There are also shops and restaurants in walking distance or a short tuk-tuk ride away.
The rooms and common areas are decorated individually with some quirky objectives and designs. There is a rooftop as well as two balconies for relaxing and watching the world go by.
Breakfast is great (yummy fruit bowl and real jam for your toast), and you can order dinner and lunch if you want - it will be cooked from scratch by Moses, the Chef. Of course, Chai is always available.
I stayed in two different standard rooms which were both good and spacious but one doesn't have windows to the outside so if that is important to you, best to check in advance.
Guests are from all around the world, including Indian travellers, spanning a range of ages, including children, and backgrounds which makes staying at Bed and Chai fun, interesting and inspiring.
The Bed and Chai Team are wonderful - friendly, fun and supportive. I also booked train tickets through them and it was easy.
Bed and Chai was my best guest house in India.

A peaceful guesthouse in Delhi, with great furniture, big rooms and balconies.
The breakfast is really good with fresh fruits and all the ingredients are fresh and organic. The guesthouse is cosy and feels like home ! I definitely recommend also for long stays.

We looked for a place for one night before our flight back home, and this place was perfect for our needs.

This area is the one of the top areas in New Delhi... forget about all the littering and the noise from the main bazar area. You can find fancy restaurants and shops in a 5 minute distance walk.

The rooms were really clean and well designed. The breakfast was really good too. I admit the main disadvantage for us was that this place cost us 3 times the budget we used to spend on Guesthouses in India.

The most friendly place we stayed. A wonderful easy retreat from the hectic streets of Dehli. Great breakfast. All meals cooked to order by Moses the in house chef. Clean, hot showers. Bit hard to find.

It was a really good hostel, with nice and friendly staff, clean room, good kitchen and good WiFi. They seem to have a really ecologic and good way of thinking, and also provide extra services like washing help with taxi, map of Delhi, etc. All in all very helpful!
