My experience with bloomrooms was just splendid. Stayed here just for a night and i'm amazed by this property. We should have more of these in every city. The metro station is right across the road but its a good 5 minute walk. Although the concept is minimalistic, the rooms are clean and tidy, the beds are awesome and the showers are amazing! Just like they promise, there's free mineral water in the room. The have an amici cafe attached which is nice but expensive, I'd rather go to the McDonalds next door if i need to grab a quick snack. They also have a beautiful lounge where you can watch TV or just read a book. It's very close to Humayun's Tomb (5 minutes by auto) which is a must see when at Bloomrooms. The metro station near by makes it easy to travel to any place in Delhi. I'm going to suggest bloomrooms to everyone I know.

Room Tip: Pick a room on the ground floor if you have heavy luggage. They do not have an elevator.

Accommodation for the FaceBook generation

We stayed as a group of three adults (three rooms, single occupancy) in late March. Overall our stay was very good. The hotel is about a UK 3 star rating.

Location wise it’s very good – not far from the Delhi metro (a short and ‘colourful’ walk away) and has a good restaurant on site. You can order pizza which are confusingly then telephoned in from another restaurant but no matter it was both quick and delicious.

The rooms were basic but clean and had all the key amenities (air-con, clean Western style bathroom, desk etc). For budget travellers this is a real find. Free wi-fi throughout. My only niggle is that there was some residual underground metro noise in my room (room one) during the day but not at night. I’d also encourage the hotel to offer a ‘Delhi Belly’ menu as I had got ill in a previous city and the restaurant had great meals but no plain rice!

Delhi is not the nicest city in India but Bloom Rooms makes it worth while. Safe, located near the amazingly impressive metro this little treasure of a hotel is hard to beat. The rooms are tiny, but all you need, as spotless and one of the comfiest beds. Private bathroomand toilet and a lovely cafe too. Not likely suitable for families but singles and couples you couldnt go wrong.

We stayed in Bloomrooms twice during our holidays, upon arrival and before leaving. It was perfect in both opportunities. Clean, safe, friendly and helpfull staff. Rooms are comfortable and clean. it's not for someone looking for a local experience, but it's great for those looking to sleep well in not a luxurious place. Location is convenient close to the metro, they have a great coffee place inside the hotel, coffee and drinking water complimentary. The taxis booked there might be more expensive than in the street... but they are safe. Stay here if you want to relax and do not want to spend a fortune.

Room Tip: we stayed at the best ones and were great. Cant say the standard ones.

Fully support other comments from other travellers great place to stay in Delhi , does lack Indian character and atmosphere but after a day or two in Delhi that's not a problem, great little hotel and staff 10/10.

Having looked through the potential options for staying in Delhi, they seemed to fall into the following categories: proper dump, expensive dump or amazing, but amazingly expensive. There did not seem to be much to choose from in the midrange categories.

Having found bloom rooms we were pleasantly surprised, whilst it it not the cheapest place, it's bright and clean interior were just the tonic for the wonderful mayhem that is Delhi.

We were a bit concerned when we saw it was next to a flyover but the new building with aircon and double glazing meant that we were not disturbed. Whilst the location is slightly off the beaten track, it is easily accessible to the centre via the subway.

We would definitely recommend it as a good place to stay which is slightly further from the madding crowd, and should not break the bank.

Only downside was the exceedingly expensive car they organised to take us to the train station early in the morning. Whilst this was a necessity as we left at 04:45, it did seem very pricey and cost us more than our two first class train tickets to Agra.

This hotel provides a soothing respite from the noisy and tumultuous life in Delhi.
Über modern and inspired from European hotels, Bloomrooms is fresh and clean.
For what it lacks in character, the hotel more than makes up in simplicity, efficiency and price.
Stand out points: amazing shower and reliable wi-fi.
