I was extremely touched by the actual rooms such as the dining room appear as they were when Indira and family lived there. Irrespective of the politics the lose of so many members through such tragic circumstances is clearly visible by photographic very detailed display and brings home the fact that if it happened closer to your own family what a devastation it would be. All aspects there were moving and I spent 2 hours there

The residence of the former Prime Minister of India, full of photographs, newspapers headlines and personal belongings (including the sari she was wearing when she was assassinated) of the Nehru-Gandhi family and her childhood. Well designed with an excellent laid out. Well maintained. A highly personal museum, emotionally touching and educational too.

A great meeting with history with very relevant and moving information - you can see the place in the gardens where Indira was assassinated (enclosed in a glass frame and with an Honor Guard). The rooms of her home have been well preserved. Good to get an idea of how she lived and what worldly things she liked.

A myriad of inspirational quotes everywhere. An immersion into her life and work.

Informative. An excellent memorial. So comprehensive that no guide is needed. No entry fee.

It takes minimum an hour to complete. Photography allowed, so don´t forget your camera. A must see if you are interested in History.

It exceded my expectations.

Teen Murti Bhavan was the gracious house built for the British Commander in Chiefs...but in independent India Pandit Nehru took it as his Residence and it is very interesting to visit for any traveller let alone an historian. Peacocks strut on the lawn and the timeline of India's struggle for freedom is shown. Pandit Nehru was the father of Indira Gandhi and India's first prime minister.
