“Peace in the madness of Delhi”
Reviewed December 24, 2012

These gardens - and the building within it - are a real oasis in the chaos of Delhi.

We spent a few hours here just before flying home after a 3 week business / holiday trip to India. There is lots of space, places to sit and walk. the buildings are interesting too.

“Relax in the middle of Delhi”
Reviewed December 23, 2012

If you, like me, find being in New Delhi amazing but at times stressful I'd advice you to visit Lodi Gardens. It has open grassfields where you can just sit down and chill out in the sun, or sit under a tree for some shade.

“Quiet gardens in heart of Delhi”
Reviewed December 21, 2012 via mobile

In the heart of the hustle and bustle of Delhi this garden offers a peaceful retreat. We caught it on a day where a number of schools were having school trips to the grounds however it still offered a calm place to take a wander through the trees while snapping a few shots of the shrines dotted on the park grounds.

Nice place to visit if you have time and want to escape the manic city streets.

“6:30 am morning walk....”
Reviewed December 19, 2012

Best way to start a day, is by having a early morning walk at Lodhi Gardens.

Also in the evening one can walk, and then take a break at the Lodhi Garden open restaurant. One of my fav. places in New-Delhi.
