Good for religious buffs..as this temple complex has temples belonging to all gods. Clean, peaceful and serene. The big Hanumaan idol and the biggest temple in the complex are great for the cameras. Not much to do here. I went on an off-day. Not worth if you have to stand for hours in lines. Can be clubbed with a visit to the Qutub Minar nearby.

Chhatarpur Mandir is truly a wonder of architecture, where stones appear to transmit poetry. Chhatarpur Temple is located on Gurgaon-Mehrauli Road, in South Delhi. The temple is easily accessible by buses, autos, metro and taxis from the city. This marvelous temple is accredited for being the second largest temple of India. In fact, it was the largest temple (India) before the creation of Akshardham Temple (Delhi) in 2005.

Chhatarpur temple is actually combination of number of temples. The total premises is in kilo metres. One can reach by road as well as metro rail, get down at Chhatarpur Metro station and take any Taxi or scooter for the mandir , about one km from Metro station. Hindu devotees have great faith in this ancient temple. Chhatarpur temple is about 4-5 km from famous Qutub Minar. The visitor can combine both in one visit.
