M-Block market is famous in whole Delhi and is landmark of this residential area. Due to high prices of land and rent, the shops are normally selling high quality international brands. I like M-Block market nightlife, there are lot of bars and restaurants. Do not miss some - they are normally located on first floors above shops with entrances not clearly visible

If you are looking to buy clothes and Top of the line Jewellery, this is the market. this market use to have some great eating places but off-late this market is converted more into a jewellery high-street. Tuesdays are weekly off. U can bargain at stalls located outside main stores . Lots of stores to pick clothing and jewellery. The crowd is always nice. ample parking space. Some nice eating places includes Moti mahaL ,minar for India food and cafe brown Sugar for quick bite of momos, sandwitches and shakes

I chanced upon the M Block Market when I was looking to change money in the Greater Kailash area. Now, with all due respect to the locals, I - as a western tourist - wouldn't even consider shopping here. Strolling through this congested, noisy and shabby complex I was asking myself that question and the answer was: no way. Tiny shops all in a row, most of them selling stuff I would never need nor wish to have. There was even a jewellery store with a mean-looking gent sitting outside cradling a long shiny scattergun. Jeez, imagine getting caught in the crossfire as you're walking back to your digs with a shopping bag full of knock-off CK socks. I finally found the money changer: it was hidden in plain view behind a fast food counter selling fried stuff. You had to squeeze through and enter a cubicle where a couple of unsavory characters from central casting were counting grubby rupee banknotes behind a glass partition. And I got a lousy exchange rate and no receipt. No surprise there.
