“Great place to hang around”
Reviewed February 17, 2013

Rajpath is starts from India Gate upto Red Fort. Every year on Republic Day & on Independence Day, we have national parades on this road.
On normal days its best to be on this place in the evening time with your loved ones.

“Road to President of India's Residence (Rastrapati Bhawan)”
Reviewed February 17, 2013

A few KM wide and straight road leading to President of India's residence known as Rastrapati Bhawan. The Gate at this road is also a famous monument for India, the India Gate. Both sides of this road are having gardens with flkower or some artificial ponds and fountain . This is the road through which the Republic day parade with display of tableau and India's other classic and pride, defence etc are displayed on 26th January every year.
Because of security reason, time to time it is seen the road is blocked at some locations. Everyday many people from India and also abroad visit this place. Some family of Delhi or near by area also come here to spend some time with their family.
India is developing country and we straight cannot compare with developed countryies of the west or in other lacations of the globe. But Delhi is one place, in spite of its many odds, people love to stay in Delhi. Those who come to Delhi from other places, other states, village side areas, donot like to go back. It is our capital , so we love it.

“Worth a stroll”
Reviewed February 7, 2013

If you happen to be staying in the area it is worth the time to take a stroll and check out the market for trinkets or textiles. In spite of what the hotels tell you there are some good bargains to be had if you are up for some serious bartering.

“Worth a short visit only”
Reviewed January 29, 2013

Rajpath is a wide road leading to Rashtrapati Bhawan (residence of President of India), nothing great about it. Lot of greenery on both sides. India gate is also on this road, locals come in the evening to this place for a walk or to pass away their time. Worth a visit on January 26 to see the republic day parade.

“Wide Boulevard”
Reviewed January 25, 2013

A nice wide street but nothing extraordinary. Just for looking- no shopping or other sights. Certainly not the Champs-Elysses in Paris.
