Planned and broad, the Presidential Palace is situated on a large Avenue, where stoppages and manifests occur. Is an architectural ensemble called Raisina Hill, situated on Raisina Road. The Palace has a beautiful rose garden.

Rashtrapati Bhavan is one of the most beautiful architectural building in India...the road that takes you there is so nice that you may find it difficult to beleive that you are still in India...the huge building will always not be a treat to your eyes but will also make you feel a proud Indian....

Only a drive by location. Guards are everywhere so you are unable to go inside or even get near it unless you are specially invited.

This type of attraction visit is common overseas but unique in India. While earlier visits to Rashtrapati Bhavan were limited to Mughal Gardens that too for only few months in the year, visitors can now go all the way inside the Presidential Palace. They can go around commonly used places and not just museums.

Famous Ashoka Hall, venue for swearing in ceremonies looked smaller than it does on TV! Ditto for Darbar Hall which is right under the main dome of the Palace.

Library is rich with books and is the place from where President delivers his address to the nation.

Mughal Garden is just amazing with endless varieties of Roses at every step.

Souvenir shop is just near the registration desk but you hardly get time to visit it. It has some good quality merchandise at very affordable prices.

Visit can be planned and booked by online appointment and payment. Process was mostly smooth except couple of minor glitches.

Overall a must visit specially with kids (8+ so that they can appreciate the tour).
