Roads were blocked the day we were here. But our driver found a back way in, that then allowed us to drive right up to the front gates.

Very interesting to see the palace and the surrounding government structures. We walked around a bit. The grounds in the area are significant.

This is the center of Indian government. Helped to have a host who routinely must visit various offices here.

Worth a quick stop. On a nice day could be a nice walking area.

If you are planning to visit India gate then on the other side of the road you will find this beautiful monument. Its big and very beautiful. Choose a not so hot day and spend at least couple of hours near india gate and trust me you will not regret it. Taste the Golla Ice cream nearby.

Located at Raisina Hill, Rastrapati Bhawan of India is a worth place to be visited in your tour to Delhi. Of course you cannot go inside . Your view from outside itself is worth your visit.
It is our pride.
One must visit if comes to Delhi. It is alos very near to our Parliament house.

General public can visit the Mughal garden and enjoy the variety of flowers. Requires good amount of walking. When I was working for the Government, I used to attend official meetings in the Cab. Sectt.

Wonderful architecture- a real tribute to Lutyens. Loved the intricate wrought iron gates and elephant topiary in the gardens. Interesting identical government buildings flanking the road up to the gates.
