“MEETING THE DIVINE”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 6, 2013

It is actually this feeling that one gets as my title suggests when you reach the ISKCON temple. My first visit to this place was in 2005 and since then i make a point to visit it every month. HARE KRISHNA HARE KRISHNA KRISHNA KRISHNA HARE HARE HARE RAMA HARE RAMA RAMA RAMA HARE HARE is what this place has in every corner and every brick, the presence of the divine. It gives the ultimate pleasure to the devotees who visit this place in search of peace and forget for a while the busy lives that they lead everyday. All in all it is a very happy surrounding to be in with your family as it has a very high quality vegetarian restaurant and also very clean indoors unlike many temples. Divinity, beauty, simplicity is what makes up ISKCON

The temple is one of the delights and the evenings are devotional. All i can say is "Hare Krishna!" The gallery has nice paintings too which take you to another place.

“A nice place to spend an evening with kids and elderly family members”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 30, 2013

I happened to visit this place in search of a good vegetarian restaurant. This is a beautiful temple dedicated to Shri Krishna. It is in East of Kailash in New Delhi. The temple is very clean unlike many hindu temples. It has got a proper vehicle parking area. The temple is very busy on hindu festival days so if you are really looking for some space and tranquility avoid the festival days. On non-festival days it is very peaceful. It hosts a very good vegetarian restuarant which offer buffet in lunch and dinner. However do call up the restaurant before you visit because it also gets booked for family celebration like birthdays, wedding etc. My 4 year old really enjoy going there due to the open space and lots of steps. However I am not sure if it has provisions for disabled to climb upto the temple which is at the hill top. Will check it in my next visit.
