Eventhough the place is not maintained properly, we find good guide to guide us and tell us all the history behind each and every place in the palace. We spend good time there and did little shopping also. Kids enjoyed lot.

Worth a look , but don't expect too much.Maybe just take some photos from the outside. The Fort at Agra is much better.

Awesome complex of buildings constructed by the Mughal emperor in medieval times. The security controls are impressive. Interesting was the use of water to cool the rooms. I could imagine the ancient inhabitants stroll along the paths. During the visit, I could see the demolition of a cement tank of the modern era.

Red Fort is an very nice group of buildings and was a welcome escape from the chaos of Chandni Chowk.

The size and grandeur, the layout of the buildings and the gardens- it is all captivating. Take the time to do it all, over the sspan of a day at the red fort
