Owner description: This architectural wonder looks like an enormous lotus blossom, reminiscent of the Sydney Opera House. Too bad the interior isn't even worth a look.

“huge crowds but a worthy visit”
Reviewed February 5, 2013

they have a huge crowd at this place constantly but the visit is reay worth it. beautiful architecture, nice fotos. and a eerie calm once inside the temple due to their strict silence policy.
also visit the museum, which most ppl give a skip. very helpful ppl there, who take teir time to happily explain about the architecture and the religiuos movement. the museum aint crowded and air conditioned,a respite when you re tired fromt he heat in summers.

“Beautiful Sound of Silence”
Reviewed February 4, 2013

The queues to the Lotus Temple's entrance are one of the most taxing things before you enter this calm, lush and one of the most visually stunning attractions in Delhi. Baha'i House of Worship is one of the most serene attractions in Delhi despite the huge number of travelers it attracts.
If not for occasional cell phones ringing and childeren crying, interior of this multi-faith prayer house is amazingly calm and soothing.
One of my favorite activity here is to sit by the calm water tanks and relax.
As with other monuments and attractions in Delhi, avoid visiting here on weekends if you can.

“Amazing architecture and aura”

What a wonderful architectural wonder. Meditated here for 15 minutes for the first visit and felt extremely peaceful. I can only imagine the difficulty in creating this wonder. Loved the concept of an hall without idols and rituals. Yes, there was a prayer session, but it was an universal prayer.

Went back on a special invitation and enjoyed the temple in solitude without the crowds. The Bahai faith in India is an extremely supportive cooperative group and they spent a lot of time sharing with me the teachings of the faith.

Do go, but go early in the day. Afternoons tend to get very crowded. Also consider a visit on a weekday rather than a w

“Not worth while seeing.”
Reviewed February 3, 2013

I would have to say that this site was quite boring. The temple itself is peaceful. The grounds and gardens were very simple.
