Owner description: This architectural wonder looks like an enormous lotus blossom, reminiscent of the Sydney Opera House. Too bad the interior isn't even worth a look.

“Peaceful gardens and impressive building. Good visitor centre also.”

As a free attraction I would recommend going to the lotus temple and taking the time to find out about the history of the temple and the Baha'i faith. The visitor centre was very interesting and we were given a tour from a lovely chap who knew his stuff.

The temple is worth a visit and if you include the visitor centre you should spend around 1.5hrs here.

“Good temple/compound to see”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 2, 2013

I enjoyed visiting the Bahai temple. I like the notion of Bahai and the fact that they make folks be quiet for a bit inside the temple (its amazing how hard it is to be just quiet for 5mins). The architecture is great. Its always a bit crowded tho.

“Serene and beautiful”

Worth a visit if you're in the Jamia/ east end of Delhi. Take an extra bag to carry your slippers, as you can't wear shoes inside.

“MUST visit”

It is a beautiful piece of architecture. Peaceful intereior where you can quietly pray to almighty that you believe in. The place needs little more attention by the authorities in terms of upkeep. Otherwise a marvel to visit.
