Owner description: This tomb, built in 1570, is of particular cultural significance as it was the first garden-tomb on the Indian subcontinent. It inspired several major architectural innovations, culminating in the construction of the Taj Mahal and many other Mughal architecture and garden complexes in India.

A gracious Muslim tomb , surrounded by gardens and "Gates."
A smaller" Taj Mahal". This was built by the father of the man who built the Taj Mahal.

it is a World Heritage Site. Very well maintained gardens. In the gatehouse there is a museum maintenance and the construction of the plant.

Impressive buildings and parks. No wonder the Taj Mahal was modelled after this. Check out the small exhibition about the renovations and history of the area.

It's less crowded compared to other place, the tomb is nice and beautifyl, a nice place to stay and relax or do a bit of self-reflection

A Unesco world heritage site, we visited to the tomb on Holi festival day so was packed with many Indians out for the day. The tomb was built for the second Mughal Emperor of india by his wife. It also has many other tombs as also used as a burial place of many members of the ruling families. You can enter inside the tomb a similar set out to the TajMahal, but not as decorative.
