We had the misfortune to stay here at the beginning and end of our trip in India. If I'd have had the energy I'd have looked for an alternative for the last night! To be fair, on our second stay we did get clean bed linen!
We'd booked a twin room with an extra bed (three sharing). When we arrived (at 5am) it took the staff nearly two hours to locate the extra bed and linen. Please note that because we wanted the room at such an early hour, we'd paid an additional charge! The toilet was on a constant flush (noisy) and then when the wash-basin leaked (all the foul water hitting the floor as soon as a tap was turned), the staff really weren't interested. One man arrived and when he was shown the problem he looked at me, shook his head and then mopped the floor with one of the towels. He then left, saying it was fixed. 24 hours later, after three more conversations, someone arrived and 'sort-of' fixed it. Everywhere in this hotel was dirty.
I know that this hotel isn't five star. I know that this is Delhi. However, this was the worst hotel I encountered in three trips to India!
The 'roof-top' terrace could have been a little gem, but again was staffed by completely disinterested staff. When we asked for a beer, we did get beer. Frozen beer. Sadly (obviously) it wasn't possible to drink (or pour) this. One 'waiter' arrived with a grubby bowl of warm water for us to put the bottles in and then disappeared with the bottles. When he returned the beer was warm and flat. He was unable (unwilling?) to tell us what had been done to said beer. We asked for a fresh beer and this arrived eventually (warm, but worth the wait by this point!). However, when we left the restaurant, the 'waiter' wanted to charge us for the frozen (undrinkable) beer. We queried this and eventually the manager agreed that we shouldn't pay for beverages that couldn't be consumed.
Really, I can't even tell you that the staff tried hard to make our stay a pleasant experience. We seemed to be an inconvenience.

I have been first time to this hotel in august 2009. I would like to say that the ambience of this hotel is one of the finest i had ever seen in the other hotels of karol bagh. The hotel has nicely decorated clens rooms. The staff is very helpful and the food which they serve is one of the best i had ever had. The hotel has the nice restro alongwith the open terrace where one can enjoy pleasent weather with the water flowing from the fountain which left me with the unforgettable memories which i had while sitting there in the evening having my coffee. last but not the least i would strongly recommend this hotel for everyone.

We stayed in this hotel twice, booked through our travel company, one night at the beginning of our trip to India and one night at the end. It's amazing how our perceptions of it changed after a month in the country! The first time we were there we thought the area a bit seedy - and we were apprehensive about venturing out - and the hotel rooms seemed ok but rather gloomy. At the end of our trip the area seemed lively and interesting, and the hotel comfortable and almost luxurious!

It probably still wouldn't be my first choice of location; there are quite a few beggars nearby and lots people trying to hassle you.. But if you head off in the general direction of the Karol Bagh metro (which is clean, cool and efficient) then there are lots of interesting shops, ok looking restaurants and a couple of coffee shops. The hotel itself is clean and has a nice foyer, helpful staff and comfortable beds. The food is also ok.

Okay, I'm not sure it lives up to being 'luxurious' which they state on the internet site, but it's right in the middle of the hustle and bustle of Karol Bagh. Close to shopping and restaurants. Some of the people on our tour apparently had rooms that smelt pretty bad (pigeons outside pooing on the airconditioning vents!!) but I had a total of 3 different rooms during my stay in India and they were all fine. It's not flashy, the bathroom was a bit run-down and the bath tub stained, but it was clean and all of the staff were helpful and friendly. If you're expecting 5 star then give this one a miss, but I liked it and hey, you are in Delhi! It suited our needs.
