Tastefull HUGE rooms
Historical building
We got a great price from Expedia.
Great food(albeit expensive!)
But the BEST part was the people who work there! The manager, the reception desk staff, the guest services girls!
We did not fall in love with the city of Delhi itself but we DID fall in love with the Maidens Hotel and its staff!

We stayed at the Maidens for two nights at the beginning of a 10 day 'Golden Triangle' group tour. We upgraded to an Executive Suite and couldn't fault the accommodation and friendly service. The grounds are beautiful - a wonderful oasis in the middle of Delhi. It's a heritage hotel and oozes colonial charm - would recommend to all and would love to stay there again.

Room Tip: Upgrade if you can - premier rooms or executive suits are much nicer than the standard rooms.

We stayed at Maidens Hotel, Delhi for 2 nights at the start of a two week holiday. It is in a great location in Old Delhi; a peaceful oasis in the middle of the hustle and bustle of the old city. We were upgraded to a suite with large bedroom, lounge, and luxurious bathroom. The bed was amazingly comfortable and the room cool, dark and quiet. We ate in both restaurants and the food was excellent. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We were lucky enough to see a pre-wedding ceremony on the lawn at the front of the building, and enjoyed the music, colour and atmosphere. The hotel is ideally situated for sightseeing. The garden attached to the terrace is a lovely spot for a beer and a poppadum while watching the eagles perched nearby. We highly recommend this hotel which provides great value for money and lots of character.

I stayed here for three nights while attending a workshop in the city. The hotel was excellent, amazing rooms and outstanding service. The food was good too- I'd recommend the thali option. I would certainly stay here again!

Room Tip: Not a big business centre but good wifi throughout the hotel.

Whilst part of a tour booking, we had extended our stay for another 3 nights. The staff here are extremely friendly and helpful, and our room was spacious and well layed out. Whilst the matress was a little more firm that we were used to, it still provided a good night's sleep. Would recommend this hotel to anyone.

A great visit, good rooms in an interesting part of Delhi, not part of the run of the mill business offerings.

I stayed for one night in Sept 2011 at the Maidens Hotel in Delhi. The property is one of the oldest heritage hotels in Delhi and to the credit of the Oberoi group is very well maitained.

I checked in on a Saturday morning and this being an off season, the staff were courteous enough to upgrade me to a luxury suite from a standard room. The suite was very spacious with a large living room, a decent sized bedroom and a spick and span washroom. The facilities in the suite catered to most basic needs (water, safe, toileteries etc.). The mini bar was well stacked. The best thing about the hotel (and maybe because this was an off season stay hence) was the absolute lack of noise both in the room as well as in the corridors. That is perhaps what you most expect from an urban Indian hotel.

The breakfast spread in the morning though was slightly limited and not upto the best standard that it could have been. Still, I would recommend this property to anyone who looking for a good accomodation, close to central Delhi particulary in the off season when the rates are cheap.
