Location - the best plac about the hotel is the location - centre of south delhi.

Malls just on the back ide of the hotels. Night life - pubs, club - you have them all.

Food - Food at sheraton is nice, tasty, fresh, and serve with a smile.

Rooms are nice and spacious.

I would recommend the property for leisure and work stay both.

Room Tip: suites at 7nth floor, as the lounge is on the same floor.

I was visiting Delhi for business in September 2013, and normally stay around Connaught Place, but this visit wanted to do business in South Delhi, so chose to stay at Sheraton New Delhi in Saket. The room rate was a very good value at 6,500 Rp per night.
I was very pleasantly surprised, both by the hotel, and the location.
The hotel is located right next door to the huge and modern Select Citywalk Mall - which is part of a linked mall complex that incorporates MGF Metropolitan Mall, and DLF Courtyard Mall, which between them house almost all the popular brands, European top-shops, and even very popular venues and restaurants including Barbeque Nation and Hard Rock Cafe Delhi.
The hotel has a beautiful outdoor lagoon pool area, and very comfortable dining and lounge spaces.
Staff were extremely helpful and accommodating.
Rooms were very comfortable. As I am SPG Platinum, I was upgraded into a small suite, which was also very well appointed. The Executive Lounge on the 7th floor hosts breakfast, high tea, and evening cocktail hour with light hors d'oeuvres.
There are metro stations in the vicinity (although not walking distance) at Saket and Malviya Nagar.
I will certainly stay here again if I am looking for accommodation in the South Delhi vicinity.

Stayed one-night here for a Friends event scheduled at this hotel. And the best hotel in South Delhi. Located next to the District Centre and the City Walk mall, one could ask for nothing better. Great Restaurants, especially Dakshin with its south-Indian cuisine. A perfect-thumbs up from me.

This is a good hotel, that should be in a better location. Although I don't think location was any better in Agra; but hey it's India, you either hate it or you love it. The staff in New Delhi was very pleasant and helpful. The room was nicely maintained; there was fresh fruit and cookies from the chef, and free bottled water daily. Room service was great, it was on time, the food was good, and accompanied with a rose. The one drawback was the location, and maybe its based on my biased appeal to sidewalks. It is closely located to a large new mall which often offers open air shows and events, but due to the lack of sidewalks, that short walk became a trip. My solution to that was to hail a tuk tuk (India's local car service) it's 30 INR, approximately 40 cents. "Where there's a will there's a way".

I stayed for four nights . It was over all pleasant stay with wonder full lobby assistant manager Mr Yuvraj. Breakfast was little massy service was not that pleasant all four days. We found human hair in one of the Dish, when confronted with the chef . She instead of accepting the fact stated that since many guest walking around. There is possibility that hair may be found in the food...! The hotel got an wonderful on the house service that give you sound sleep. You can order a Glass of hot milk before going to bed. You will be served it with levendar spray for bed. But only draw back is you may loose your flight. As we were given wake up call after 40 minute of our schedule time. So be careful when you go for breakfast or sleep.

Although the staff at the hotel are absolutely lovely, the hotel is currently let down a little by a few elements, which can make a difference between a really comfortable stay and one that's not so comfortable. The rooms are average, fairly small and certainly nothing special compared to other comparable hotels in major cities in India. I found my room noisy - the walls are thin, and one can hear noise from neighbours, doors banging and a lot of noise from housekeeping cleaners - especially sounds such as things dropping continually on marble floors above. The weighing scales in the bathroom didn't work and there was no bath floor towel/rug - and as these floors can be very slippery when wet, it's a bit dangerous (luckily there were some small hand towels, so I used one of these). The air conditioning was very fierce and it was ineffective at controlling the temperature, which remained freezing cold. In the end, I switched it off, and even though the outside temperature was very warm, the room didn't really get any warmer. Luckily, I had brought some warm clothes to wear - but this really shouldn't be necessary, especially in Delhi in the summer! There was only one tiny sachet of instant coffee in the room, which I thought a little mean for this standard of hotel.
In the room, just a pencil was provided, which again, is a little strange - but anyway, now you've read this, you'll know to bring your own pen!
The buffet in the restaurant is always varied and plentiful; but on this occasion, I opted to have room service. The food was delicious - however, the bread order was wrong; I asked for 1 paratha and 1 plain naan. I got 2 buttered naans and 2 poppadums, which I didn't really want - no mention of the changed order (which may have been necessary according to the bread oven possibly) - but it would have been more professional to have pointed this out at the time.
Spa is very good value, with lovely staff, but not very restful or relaxing atmosphere - it's more like a busy hair salon. Manicure was a little rushed and unfortunately, didn't last beyond one day.
Overall, I would say that this hotel needs a little more work to reach the level of other ITC Sheraton hotels within India.
