“Must watch show”
Reviewed September 6, 2013

A great place with a sound and light show at the Purana Qila is a very beautiful 50 minute show depicting the story of Delhi. I just loved it! There are 2 versions for the show 1st is in English and 2nd is in Hindi, and costs for the show is INR 80 only. as far as i remember the timings were 6 PM and 7 PM. in open air chairs are arranged and the show starts with laser lights and theater sounds, witch shows a reality thing from mhabarat times to today,
must watch

“Must see Ishq-e-Dilli”
Reviewed May 15, 2013

This is an hour-long laser light show, narrating the past 5000 years of Delhi's history. The show shows a realization that every place in Delhi has a place in history. The 60-minutes show which runs through 5,000 years of the Capital’s history surely leaves the audience spellbound. “Ishq-e-Dilli” represents the spirit of Delhi through a lively narration of the ten cities of Delhi – the formation and resurrection of the city with its phoenix – like character.

“Amazing historic place”
Reviewed April 23, 2013

It is a great visit of an old fort with loads of garden space and welcome shade. Take a picnic with you and enjoy the great sight of the walled fort the 3 entrance gates, the mosque and the (supposedly) library. The museum inside the fort is also worth a visit as it tells you more about the history of the place and the archaeological findings.

There are no guides (not even freelance guides) so it is a nice and relaxing atmosphere. The ZOO is next door and the Humayun's Tomb is only 2 kms away (but trust me a AutoRikshaw is well worth the money not having to walk that 2 kms).

“A visual treat served on an audio platter”
Reviewed November 22, 2012

Very few rulers of the world could resist falling in love with Delhi. Many a battles were fought and conspiracy were hatched to win over Delhi."Ishq-E-Delhi" is a perfect depiction of the centuries gone by in the history of Delhi. This show laced with history and folklore is logical end to the visit of Puran Quilla.I recommend you visit the Old Fort(Purana Quilla) after reading about it and see the show in the evening. If you understand Hindi then prefer the show in Hindi.
The only not so likable part: is it's second Dance and song sequence which is unnecessarily lengthy and seems out of context. Nevertheless it's worth spending time out there in the evening.

“The story of Delhi”
Reviewed September 17, 2012

This amazing light and sound show depicts the story of Delhi, how time and again kings fell in love with Delhi and how they conquered it and modified and extended Delhi..
The walls of the fort are the base on which lighting works are displayed..
Very well executed special effect show..
MUST SEE.. Thumbs up from me..
