Jyoti is very charming and cooks so quickly – she whips up a delicious banquet in no time (assisted by her helpers in the kitchen.) Lots of inspirational tips to make the same food at home, and of course you get to eat the food which you have seen her prepare. As others have said, you are then given the recipes to take with you to assist in replicating the dishes at home. We only attended a cooking demonstration, but I am sure that the market visit would also be a very interesting activity. Recommend this cooking class, and especially it would be an excellent choice if you are starting your Indian tour in Delhi.

My sister and I spent an evening with Jyoti for a cooking class and market tour. Jyoti is friendly and provides a wealth of information on Indian culture and cooking. We had a wonderful time visiting the local shopping scene with her, and she was kind enough to help us buy spices for cooking back home. The meal at her house was so delicious. Her home is beautiful, inviting and she is such an amazing cook. We both love Indian food, and this was the BEST we have ever tried. The recipes she gives you are simple to understand. This class is a must for anyone visiting Delhi and wanting to learn more about Indian cooking.

Myself and two friends spent a wonderful day with Jyoti in November. Meeting at the local market she kindly showed us around the market helping us buy spices for home and even helped us buy our own sarees!

We then went tosample street food and some local sweets which were delicous!
After spending a wonderful few hours exploring the local markets and shops we went to Jyotis home for a wonderful afternoon learning to cook a range of Indian specialities. We were taught all about the spices and how to use these for a favourites dishes. The food was incredible and I have much pleasure recreating these dishes and sharing with friends.

I highly recommend this class and is suitable for all. Definitely one of the highlights of our trip.

Thanks Jyoti

We had a great day with Jyoti, she gave amazing insight into Indian life and taught us how to make some beautiful and simple meals. This experience made our trip and gave us confidence when ordering food. The nicest part of the experience was being in her house and having lunch with her son, a real family experience.
