“Le Cirque…for a rare culinary treat!”
Reviewed March 6, 2014

A restaurant with a classy ambiance and, arguably, the best steak in town!

The Bistecca Fiorentina, paired with a bottle of Ca'Marcanda, both from the Toscana region of Italy, is an outstanding delicacy, served with panache by Chef Federico Pucci. A tender T-Bone steak from the US, with just the right amount of fat to keep it succulent, is open grilled to your taste! A recommendation: go for the rare medium!

The meal is concluded with the very special Tiramissu, a creation of this unique gourmet restaurant. A very memorable evening….wholeheartedly recommended to those seeking a culinary treat!

“MORE STYLE THAN SUBSTANCE”
Reviewed February 18, 2014

There appeared to a lot of hype about this restaurant in the new Leela in Delhi so we felt we should pay a visit despite coming from London where french restaurants are in abundance. Initially we could not get a reservation because we were told it was full. However eating there that night it was only half full. There is a lot of pomp and ceremony around ordering the menu. We must have had four waiters and one manger standing over us but not really a lot of action. In fact the over fussyness is quite disarming. We were give pre-snacks which were very ordinary although they were made out to be something exceptional. I ordered PAILLARD CHICKEN. It was a chicken breast banged out into a round the shape of the plate. It was oversize with a portion enough for two people. It was tough and thick and despite having a heavy cream sauce it was at the best very average. The Chef came over and apologized and offered us a dessert. When this arrived it was sickly sweet. I have to say if you are coming from the West do NOT waste your money here there are a zillion restaurants far better than this at home - go and eat at one of the other wonderful restaurants instead.

“Not As Great As New York”

Food was good but not great "and such small portions". Service good but not as great as in the supurb Leela Palace Hotel where the resturant is situated on the top floor.

“My best dining experience while in New Delhi”
Reviewed January 3, 2014

I was in New Delhi for business for a week and ate in (too) many restaurants, but the overall experience made Le Cirque the best. Let's start with the service - of course it was perfect but the servers went above and beyond: finding a cable to charge one of our guest's iphones; providing a running commentary of an Indian wedding taking place ten stories down - explaining Indian wedding culture and practices. It was a delicious and fun dinner!

The dining rooms are opulently decorated. We have a private room with a magnificent view.

The cuisine itself was perfect. I had a mi-cuit tuna to start; ended with the classic crème brulée. Perfection.

We had several wines - and none really shone - one actually tasted a bit off.

“Serene”
Reviewed December 18, 2013

Tucked away neatly in a corner of New Delhi's Diplomatic Enclave, the Hotel overflows with opulence and boasts of some good restaurants, including and especially Le Cirque.

The best thing about any restaurant should be food! But ambiance, service and 'overall feel' make 'eating food' a wholesome activity and hence hold equal importance. Le Cirque aces all aspects.

I have visited the place a couple of times and been impressed both times. The service is personalized and waiting staff make some excellent suggestions for starters and wine.

The food is good and I suggest going with the chef's suggestion/specialty.

Its touted as one of the most expensive restaurant in the country!

So pick a special day for the visit and enjoy the experience when you are there!
