Staff is very UN-professional and very irritating. There is no one to take any responsibility of mishaps. The service is very poor. No SPOC ....very untidy rooms and very bad food.

I dont know how oodles is surviving in such a customer centric industry....pathetic

I had booked 7 rooms on 28/8/2012 at 1:18 pm for 24 November 2012 through there reservaton website. Booking was done and amount debited to my card. But to my suprise the hotel managment and Easy cloud (booking engine)responded that there is no inventory left for 24 November 2012 on 29/8/12 (in the evening) so could not confirm the rooms. It has been sixteen days after repeated follow ups to hotel managment and Easy Cloud not even a penny has reached my account. Guys kindly be careful to book this hotel as no one takes responsibility to refund the money for not utilising there services.

Oodles Hotel
The hotel is very very nice ;) green hotel!!!
We recommend it to all travelers!!!!!
Perfect after a long day sightseening in Delhi!!!
:))) Perfect restaurant and garden!!!
If we go again to Delhi, we would stay in OOdles hotel again!!!

This is a new hotel and the bedrooms show signs of having been designed with some thought. Unfortunately it doesn’t all quite work. Despite some nice touches there is, for example, a very strange gold coloured block on which is mounted the tv set which spoils the rest of the room. Worse is that they haven’t tackled many of the problems to do with it being a new property. The first bedroom we were given we walked straight out of because the plaster was crumbling off the wall due to damp. How they couldn’t have tried to do something about it I can’t understand. The next room had the same problem but it wasn’t so severe.
For the two nights we stayed at the hotel we had no hot water and neither did anyone else. It reached tepid but you needed to take a deep breath before you faced a shower.
We were there for Saturday and Sunday nights and on both nights they had loud parties going on until after 11 p.m. Because the hotel is a U shape on, I think, two floors, and the parties used the whole of the space in the middle, we got the full blast. I think this is how they make most of their money so you can see why they do it.
There isn’t really a proper bar, just an adjunct to the dining room. The food is OK and all the staff try but most of them have poor English. I expect they will improve.
It is a long way out of the centre of Delhi. We wanted to go in to meet friends and so went looking for a taxi. They don’t have a rank and explained that if they phoned for a taxi it could take 30 minutes to arrive. We went to the end of the drive and got a tuk-tuk instead. It was a good thing we did because having arrived it would have taken the taxi a long time to get into town because the traffic was so bad. Our tuk-tuk driver got through gaps that weren’t even there and made it in about half an hour. Great fun if you live to tell the tale. If you want to get back it’s worth knowing that many of the locals pronounce it Ood-less as in being totally without oods. This can cause a problem (the pronunciation, not being without oods).
If you do stay here, change your money at the Airport because there is no foreign exchange in the hotel.
They could do something about many of the problems but I feel that it really isn’t a hotel for tourists, but neither does it have a ‘local’ feel to it.
If someone tackled the décor problems in the rooms it might be worth considering as an overnight stop for the airport.

This hotel looks and acts like it has serious problems. The rooms are very modern with good facilities including free wifi in the rooms. The bathrooms have the facility of opening the blind onto a private courtyard garden, which makes it feel like your having a bath outdoors.
Unfortunatey that is where the good points end.
In the restaurant they had run out of bottled water one night and beer the following night. We had to order 3 different items off the menu before they said they had that in. The staff in the restaurant were very slow and did not understand very much english.
A cup of coffee in the morning took 3 requests and 25 minutes later we received it.
The rest of the hotel is looking a little run down.
Would not return

Our tour operator and agent arranged for my spouse and I to stay at this hotel during a lengthy layover when travelling from Kathmandu to Frankfurt. In total, we were there for under 5 hours. We had previously stayed at the Claridges while touring Delhi weeks before.

The hotel may have one time been first rate. Architectually, it is impressive. It has been allowed to deterirate, however.

The walls of the public corridors are badly marked and damaged. The rooms, although handsome, are also in bad repair. We asked to be move to another room after spotting extensive water damage on the wall of one room and having concerns over mold. We found similar water damage behind the sofa in the second room but were too tired to go through another move.

The room was only superficially clean. We observed hair and dry blood stains as well as red threads on the white linen and questionable stains on the walls. We chose to sit on the sofa and watch TV rather than take a nap- the raison d'etre for our booking.

We ate at the restaurant, which was empty. This too raised concerns given the extensive menu and the possibility that food might be served that was beyond its best before date. In the end, the food, although not impressive, was gracefully served and tasted fine. The menu covers were filthy.

Service generally at the hotel was willing.

Definitely can't recommend.

Stayed at this hotel to attend a friends party. Its newly built nice neat and clean property. But its more of a resort than hotel. Its a single story property. we were given room no. 35 which was after a long walk on the other end of U shape gallery as other side entrance is closed as they have made some offices there.
Also position of tv is not proper, as to view from bed, you need to move it for which a special attachment is there but it keeps on moving back. No slippers etc.
Service is poor. At breakfast, had to ask many times for spoons, tea etc. and at last have to do it ourselves.
After checkout, we had to wait for over 30 minutes for luggage.
Its a nice property but can be very good if service and maintenance is improved.

Room Tip: take rooms upto 15 number otherwise its a long long walk
