“inconvenient location, depressing decor”
Reviewed December 11, 2011

This newly opened hotel is "grand" if you like lots of black and silver and mirrors. A staff member confessed to me that several people have walked into the mirrors because everything looks the same, and the lighting is low. Although the rooms were comfortable, they were very depressing with so much black.
In looking at the hotel web site, it shows they have airport transfers. Be aware that these are far from free (US $50) and must be reserved in advance. The hotel is a long way from the airport, and I would question why someone would choose to stay this far from the rest of Delhi. The neighborhood is both isolated and uninviting.
Nice staff and dining, but not worth the long drive.

Apart from the location (there is little else around within walking distance), this hotel is great. Very clean, spacious room, huge showers, good soundproofing. The staff is always courteous and very eager to help. The quality of the food in the hotel restaurants makes up for the lack of other places in the vicinity.

By a mistake I booked this hotel, believing it was by the airport (another Radisson Blu). The hotel would not letme change as I had booked through an agent.
Oh well, hopefully it would be great. When we arrived by car at around 6 at night there were so many mosquitos we had to run to the lobby. In the lobby there were mosquitos too, and in the elevator. Luckily none in the room. This hotel must have been built on a swamp!
The room was good though, and the Indyaki restaurant was excellent. However, there were five power outages between 6 and 10 at night...

This is a top drawer hotel, from the moment you walk in it's clear that it is going to be a good experience, from the smiles at reception to the wonderful decor. it manages to combine a modern feel with real elegance and style. What I liked about the design is that it is consistent throughout the Hotel, The rooms are just as opulent as the lobby is grand, The management are highly visible and available, and are keen to ensure they look after you without being in your face all the time.
It's the best 5 star I've stopped at in Delhi by a long way, and that includes a couple of taj hotels. The large shower cubicles are great, and the beds and pillows are incredibly comfy. My bedroom had a huge TV built unobtrusively in to a stylish dark wood and chrome wall fitting.
I'd be truly shocked if anyone said they didn't love it!

Well apart form the excitement getting there, where I was taken through nearly every back road in Delhi the stay was great.

The hotel is very nicely appointed. A couple of days orientating myself around the hotel was fun and easy with over helpful staff. The pool deck is beautiful, a little buggy at night, but luckily they kept themselves to the spot lights. Meeting facilities excellent which met our meeting needs perfectly. A well thought out breakfast and particularly good coffee.

The room was spacious and convenient for setting up a work station. However no beer in the mini bar, which as its my first trip to India this could be a standard. Freezing AC which could only be adjusted by turning it off. When you take your key card out of the room the AC seems to continue cooling the room, temperature on the control said 22, but the travel thermometer on my suitcase said 16... bbrrrrrr. Shower was huge, it took awhile to get hot water and on my first morning there was no hot water.

The bar was great, never really got a taste for Kingfisher but they substituted nicely with Heineken and Tuborg.

The highlight was the staff, the hostess at breakfast was fantastic and Pallavi (this spelling will likely be incorrect) on check out was attentive and helpful changing my transfer time on the spot and facilitating a quick check out in spite of the que.

New Hotel opened in this part of Delhi, on the Ring Road. Good location and right tarrif. Only thing that there is no place to eat outside the hotel yet as the Mall next to the hotel is still to be habitated. The hotel staff is courteous and overly helpful. Rooms are very good and well equipped. Breakfast is sumptious and the food during meals is good. One should try the buffet lunch

Room Tip: Choose the rooms on the back side of the hotel to get a quite atmosphere

This is a new hotel in Paschim Vihar, and very impressive it is too. The staff were overwhelmingly friendly and attentive, asking us to provide them with our reuests for incidentals like which fruit we preferred in our room every day. They greeted us warmly whenever we met in the corridors or lobby. The breakfast was superb-a huge variety of delicious, well-prepared food and with plenty of space and dozens of staff we could want for nothing. The pool was lovely and very warm. There were a couple of minor glitches like the water was rusty coloured one day and the shower was cold but the staff apologised immediately and set about rectifying it. Also, not all facilties are open yet as the hotel is very new-for example, there is no spa-but these should be available soon. All in all, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and have already rebooked for my next visit.
