Kunzum is whatever you want it to be. Its a hangout zone of the kind that every city needs but doesn't have. You pay as you like, sit as you like and do as you like.
For travellers, there are regular events organised by the cafe taking them to different places within and outside Delhi. You will find amazing company among the fellow visitors who come from all ages, professions, etc.
A lot of books are available for you to browse through, most of them on travel. The owner himself is a prolific writer, photographer and traveller. You can read/buy his books at the cafe. The walls are adorned with some of his amazing photographs, also for sale.
I started going to the cafe only a few months ago and I am already hooked.

“Good hang out”
Reviewed November 11, 2012

This place is less of a coffee shop, more of a hang out place.
Great atmosphere with nice photographs, books and tea/coffee on offer.
The WIFI is not free anymore; it is now 25 Rs. per hour.

“bad tea, bad talks, phonies”
Reviewed July 30, 2012

I went to this place after reading some reviews here, came back totally disgusted. they don't serve any good beverage. tipping them is also uncalled for. what service are they giving anyway. i have been to countless enjoy-and-tip places in Bangalore and Mumbai too. At least in one of those i got good quality coffee. and i just fail to understand how this place is called "travel cafe". it is just a small shop selling photographs with free tea. while i was browsing through some of the images one man suddenly came up and asked me, "where do you want to go?" i was surprised. i am just a customers. i didn't want to strike any conversation. this cafe is so fake. people talking about where they want to go and where they have been. most of them are either DSLR show off types who have just discovered ladakh after watching 3 idiots.

this place is really weird. some foreign tourists are being robbed of their money and time. the photographs are also not so good anyway. avoid this place. it will just waste your time.

if you really like travel, you will know by instinct where to go to find travel information. going to kunzum will erode that originality of travel within you. kunzum is just another new-age money-minting place where they make people pay for some "exotic India" photographs. Even the India that Kunzum shows is very inadequate. that tells a lot about the shopowner's own character.
