The Leela Palace New Delhi

The quality of service and helpfulness of staff cannot be faulted here. The hotel is very stylishly and impressivly decorated. Breakfast was very good. Rooms are very spacious. Hotel is spotless clean. I gave it 4/5 due to problems at check in. I specifically chose a twin room when I booked through booking.com. However, when I arrived I was informed that a twin room was not available. I had to wait in the lobby for very long until I was given my key; only to find that the room has a double bed. We had to wait in the room again until we were offered an upgrade excluding tax. I believe this could have been done alot more efficiently.

All in all, I recommend staying here. You can refer to the uploaded pictures.

Beautiful, new and modern hotel in a great central location in Delhi. Service is outstanding and very professional without being overbearing. Great breakfast selection and swimming in the rooftop infinity pool is an awesome experience! Large rooms, huge bathrooms, great facilities, the list goes on. Couldn't fault this hotel! Yes, there is a security check when you enter due to the location of the hotel in the Diplomatic Enclave but it should take no more than a few seconds and is not at all intrusive.

The Leela Palace New Delhi set the bar very high for our 10 day trip of the Golden Triangle and unfortunately nothing else lived up to the same standards!

This hotel and the staff made our stay at Delhi so wonderful that i didn't want to come back. The location , in hotel restaurants, rooftop pool and all other accommodations deserve the highest hotel rating possible. Our experience with the three principal chefs was unforgettable. We requested a cooking lesson and they arranged it in the most gracious way.

We had a wonderful stay at the Leela Palace. The staff were all very friendly, knowledgeable and eager to assist. The property was well maintained and the standard of amenities was very high. The Leela is located in the Diplomatic Enclave which felt very safe. Although it is not in the center of the city, it is close enough to all of the sights. Breakfast and dinner at the Qube was very good.

Beautiful hotel, friendly and extremely helpful staff, loved the roof top pool. Restaurants a bit pricey but probably in line with other 5 star hotels. Definitely felt at home. Leela kempinski Gurgaon a bit more affordable and extremely pleasant! Will definitely want to stay at the Leela hotels for future visits.

Back in India after many years to be with family, everyone was talking about this hotel back home as the place to be, even though our agents had alternate options while in New Delhi. Initially it was great.. you have to experience the extraordinary welcome that these guys provide when you walk in, but when you wake up for breakfast you better be up for a challenge.. if you need service you better stand and waive your hands for some one to see you, as else the guys are busy chatting and doing god knows what!
short stay but cant go back here.

I am disappointed to see your feedback. We obviously have failed in ensuring that you have a great overall experience and I sincerely apologize for this. Since your visit we have worked on many improvements in our Qube restaurant. From service experience to the promptness and management of the shop floor. Rest assured, our hospitality is better and we have taken steps to learn from your and other guest feedback.

I do hope you will come and visit us again to experience our services at their best.

The Leela is a truly grand place to stay in New Delhi. The service, accommodation and cuisine are all first class. We stayed on the Royal Club floor, which offered luxury airport transfers, light meal services and evening cocktails, which we thoroughly enjoyed. The service here was particularly good and the team should be praised. When we returned one day after sightseeing to find we had missed the lunch service, the staff very kindly put together some sandwiches and salads for us.

We ate in the Indian restaurant one night, which was good and like all of the hotel, was opulently decorated. For the rest of our stay we simply enjoyed the drinks and snacks (which is a vulgar term for such delectable offerings) available in the club room.

I also particularly enjoyed the roof top, heated swimming pool particularly as the sun set over the city around you. A lovely place to stay.
