Had a great business stay. Great rooms. Internet was reasonably fast, not great. Perfect bathroom, fresh pastry and fruit daily and lovely staff!

Every employee greeted me and made me feel at home for my week long stay at the Leela Palace. Every meal at the Leela Palace was delicious. So far they have opened four out of five of their restaurants. The deluxe room I stayed in was beautiful and funtional. If you are visiting Delhi, you must stay here!

We usually stay at Taj or Oberoi properties when in India, but the Leela Palace ND exceeded expectations in all departments. From the staff who greet you at the entrance and offer to help with your shopping bags to the personal butler who supplies sweets, chocolates and cookies, this hotels treats you like royalty! A truly luxurious experience

The hotel is brand spanking new and has flashy rooms.

The rooms are well decorated and the mini bar is very well stocked. The bathrooms have the new mirror image TVs installed which unfortunately are incorrectly installed as one can not watch the TV clearly from within the bath. The TV is controlled via an iPod touch and has free in house movies which was a good treat.

No free WiFi is absolutely ridiculous in this day and age. WiFi should be like a TV, standard issue in all hotels.

F&B was good and the breakfast spread in the morning was nice.

The only downer is that Middle Eastern tourist must be weary as staff is slightly racist towards "muslim" looking people. My Qatari colleague who stayed with me faced horrible service while westerners were always served on hands and knees.

Also, managers at F&B outlets with the black coats - stop walking around strutting your uniform, concentrate on service, you look like fools.

6/10 experience

I just came back from a 6 day stay and must say that everything was phenomenal. Rooms were as modern as in Vegas and the service was trained at its best. Three things that must be improved are.
1. The doors slam very loud at night from the rooms next door.
2.There is no hairdresser in the hotel.
3.The television makes a very loud sound when turned off.

Despite those small issues I was really satisfied.

I have stayed at the Oberoi and Shangri-La in Delhi. The Leela Palace surpasses in every area. From the moment your arrive to the time you leave the hotel is 5+ stars. Restaurant service and food is 5 star. The hotel is incrediblely clean, the staff is always pleasant and helpful, the rooms and bathrooms are beautiful, the hotel itself is beautiful with the high ceilings and design, and much more.

This is an expensive hotel the value is matched. You will not be disappointed.

Room Tip: Email the hotel for the best rates. They are willing to negotiate.
