Stayed here for one night. We paid 800 rupees for an air conditioned double room with a balcony. I thought the room was ok for the price. It was no dirtier than a lot of hotels in Pahar Ganj and cleaner than some. Didn't eat there so can't comment on that. Ordered chai and it took a while. I think we had to phone twice. If your on a real budget and don't mind the Pahar Ganj 'ambiance' it may work for you. Close to the Ramakrishna Marg metro and not too far from the train station. No hooks to hang clothes on. Ask for what you need. I asked for fresh clean bedsheets and actually got some with no stains and they looked new. If the room is dirty ask them to re clean it and supervise the cleaners. After all it was only 800 rupees-where can one get that in Delhi.

I happened to stay here for a couple of days when I was on a business trip to Delhi. Lift was not working. Rooms were old. Room service was just OK. But the stay was not so bad. Stay here only if you are not having any other option.

We stayed in Paharganj on our arrival to and departure from India. Getting in we paid 800 INS for a basic room, clean enough at Vishal. Getting out we stayed at Sun Village for 1200 INR. Admittedly Sun Village has more hotel trappings in the form of a proper lobby, decor in the rooms and elevator. But if the goal is to just sleep a night without worrying about roaches hitching a ride back to Europe in your luggage, I would think twice before staying at this hotel.

this hotel advertised w/ a complimentary taxi pick up from the airport needless to say nobody was there to recieve me at the airport & was left to sort my own taxi which i was not reimbursed for.

also when i inquired about the purchase of an indian mobile sim card i was introduced to a vodaphone representative who charged 6 times the going rate for the sim & activation.

there is a group of 5 - 6 fellows that tend to mill around the hotel preying on the incoming travellers & they are nothing short of petty criminals.

i would not reccomend this hotel.

The hotel advertised @ orbitz.com for free airport transfer. All information was provided to them like name of airline, city of departure, date & time of arrival & what terminal. When we arrived @ the airport, nobody came to pick us up. We called the hotel & was told to get a taxi & not to worry for they'll take care of it upon check in. When I asked for the 395 Rupees I paid be refunded, I was told the manager will take care of it @ 9am. Abyss Tours told me they are the local booking agent for Orbitz & brought me to their office. Abid Zargar told they made a mistake & to call him & they'll take me back to the airport on our departure. He tried to sell me a 3 day golden triangle tour but we told him we want to think it over. I emailed him 3 days before our departure & no response. I called him one day before our departure & he said he has no car available. I even challenge him I'll pay part of it & he come out w/ all reasons like call back tomorrow & if there's car available, he'll take us. At that moment, I felt I got cheated by the hotel as well as Abyss tours. Everything is o'k w/ the hotel except the free airport transfer which did not happen & is the main reason I booked this hotel.
