Tannie and Murad were ever so helpful and the food we had at their place was great. The room we stayed in was the big room with the roof terrace, which was used to enjoy the odd afternoon beer while watching the parrots fly by. For being in Delhi it was remarkably quiet and the views were great!
We got lots of tips (too many?) to visit places around Delhi and beyond. The advice to visit the Taj by taxi was one that didn't work out too well and we'd have preferred to have gone by fast train. Other than that our whole stay lasted a good few days longer than we had planned initially, we were just so comfortable.
One point of criticism was that the bed was really hard, it wasn't easy for me to sleep well on it, I eventually ended up putting the couch's cushions under the mattress for more comfort. Mind you, my girlfriend was fine on it, but then again, she had just spent a month in Assam for charity work, under circumstances that would make a lot of places seem like a 5 star hotel.
