I had my lunch today with a friend from brazil @ gun powder, hauz khas village. it was raining and as a typical indian guy with a spicy taste wanted to have a nice heavy meal. malabar parantha & buff curry with buttermilk, just made it perfect with tasty food and a great view of lake from the 4th floor (outdoor seating). price is very reasonable.
Stlye of food : south-indian
p.s-no lifts, i know its depressing but food is worth it.

Do try and find this place it is worth it, down an alley and up 3 flights of stairs! The setting is basic but the views are amazing and there is a/c! The food is fantastic very authentic and gorgeous, not over spicy and it is very good value.

We went there for a party as one of our colleague has suggested it. I doubt if anybody can reach there in a single shot as u have to ask so many times for this place. No doubt food was so good and Paranthas and chicken curry, mutton fry were awesome . They don't serve wine and scotch there only few beers were available and that too in a odd glass. It is located on fourth floor and there is no lift so get ready to step up narrow uncounted stairs to get some good food

Everything about this place is pleasing. The decor is minimalistic but food is awesome and service efficient and responsive. Everything on the menu is a must try specially the black gram salad, dosa and appams.

The food here is incredible! You have to dine here at least once.

Getting to this place was a little shady - dark streets but oh my goodness! When our dinner arrived, we were not disappointed. In fact, we kept calling for more paratha roti - a type flatbread served with curry and very familiar to us from Trinidad and Tobago in the Caribbean.

Prices are decent, service good, typical indian dishes.

Definitely on my list of places to revisit if I return to Delhi!
