If you're like us, you may have heard or seen reviews, made reservations, and trekked out to Hauz Khas Village... only to see a lone sign for the restaurant, and then have to stop to ask directions to wend your way through the building to find it. The food was good (though not nearly as spicy as we expected) - we had buff curry, chilli pork ribs, some rice, an appam, and for dessert the stewed apricots in cream. All delicious, served hot and quick - no complaints there!

The best seats are out on the terrace where you can look into the water tank (pond). Definitely call ahead for reservations as well!

The place was packed when we got there, the staff quickly let us know how long it would take and got us some drinks, server made suggestions on what to get, food came out in good time, and everything was delicious!

An absolute no nonsense restaurant and I guess it is always packed. Worth mentioning is the food , I loved the pork ribs for starters and the pork idaku curry for lunch. But jhonestly the quality of fish was not very impressive though the gravy was good. The appm and the methi dal were also nice.

Great Andhra food in a very relaxed atmosphere in Hauz Khas: people have been known to get addicted to their soondal [gram, coconut, mustard seed, and curry leaves] and koothu parotthas. Not to mention their methi dal, mustard seed pumpkin, buff fry -- best taken in small portions -- and appam. Oh, and the filter coffee is not bad, either. Too bad it's a bit cramped and they often book too many tables at a time...

I went to this restaurant after a friend had highly recommended it! The food was delicious! Spicy but rich with flavor!! It was hard to find as we passed through some back alley construction and several flights of stairs! We were determined to eat here despite the fact that it hardly had any seating! I think we ordered 3/4 of the menu, my friend and I are both foodies! Needless to say we wanted to try everything! Loved it all! I hear it might be closing down, so if you get a chance, go!!
