“Great place for relaxing in a busy city”
Reviewed May 23, 2010

Stayed two nights on business here, and was very impressed. Only issue we had was our taxi driver couldn't find it, and no one on the street he asked had any idea where it was either. After circling the area for 30 mins I used my iphone GPS to locate it!

Hotel is attached to two shopping centres, so easy and safe to wander around if you feel like it. Restaurant was good, bar was great. Free wifi is a must for me, and the signal was great. Overall, I would stay here next time I am in Delhi.

My family and I had to stay in New Delhi on account of the Icelandic ash cloud that paralyzed most flights to Europe. I barely had anytime to do research on hotels in New Delhi, so I was a bit worried at first. Nevertheless, the Hilton Garden Inn in Saket turned out to be a very pleasant surprise. It was a relief, particularly during this emergency, to have access to a 24-hour business centre that was free to use. The swimming pool had a decent size. [tip: it is best to stay in the third floor, near the swimming pool and the business centre]. The hotel is inside a huge shopping mall complex, not exactly traditional India. My son loved near instant access to McDonald's, KFC, and all the great American culinary giants. For the rest of us, there are some superb Indian restaurants (including the deluxe version of Moti Mahal). I would also recommend the Punjab Grill, Spice Market, and the Kebab Factory. In other words, great food without the hassle of getting around Delhi. If you are inclined to get a spa treatment for little money, the Bella Madonna in the mall is a treat.

The location could be a problem if you need instant access to the airport (the Radisson is a better option for that) or to Connaught Place and north Delhi (e.g., Red Fort, Chawndni Chowk). I am not sure what the attraction of Connaught Place is anymore (it is practically a construction zone, a pale shadow of its former self), but getting there will take you about 30-45 minutes by taxi (about the same to the airport). Taxis a plentiful and the hotel will call one for you instantly.

This is the best Hilton hotel that I have stayed in (though nowadays a Hilton hotel is not what it used to be).

We have stayed at many hotels over the years, often luxury ones with impeccable details and fantastic designs. But Hilton Garden Inn/ Saket is unique.

For business travellers it offers a business centre absolutely free of charge and is closeby to the major business hubs of delhi.
For liesure travellers, it has shopping malls attached to it and also 2 mutiplexes to catchup with thier favorite movie.

To sum up its a fantastic place.!!!! Simply superb.

a nice hotel with immaculate housekeeping. It is very conveniently located next to the DFL mall and Citywalk shopping center. The immediate surroundings like most of India appear chaotic and the streets pretty dirty but that is not the hotel's fault. The restaurant is very average. The room was excellent and the mattress the best I've ever slept in in a hotel chain. I would recommend the hotel highly. It is not in the center of Delhi so you have to grab a taxi or if you're brave enough an autorickshaw to get around to see the sights.

Stayed here for one night during a tour of North India. Lovely hotel, exceptionally clean, comfortable and quiet rooms. Lovely and plentiful breakfast, with added bonus of hotel being attached to a very modern shopping centre...what more could a girl want!! Overall, very impressed!

We stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn in Saket for 3 nights in March 2010 (my husband, mother-in-law, two kids and myself). We enjoyed our stay thoroughly in 2 standard rooms. The bed and sheets were very comfortable. The room had an alarm clock with an mp3 jack. It had free wireless internet in the rooms. And it seems like such a small thing, but it was nice to have complementary bottled water in the room. It was a little bit of a pain in previous hotels on our trip to get fleeced in the room for the water bottles. We also visited the business center for some printing and that was very well set up. The fitness center was small but with good equipment. We had booked a promotional non-refundable rate of around Rs. 6000/night/room, which is a little higher than we wanted (we would never have booked here at the rack rate of Rs. 12000!). We had free breakfast in the restaurant for 3 days which was a nice combination of western and Indian (northern and southern food). The staff was very attentive and friendly. The hotel adjoins the DLF Place Mall, which is large, but I didn't find too fantastic as far as shopping is concerned. My kids loved the adjacent food court to grab pizza and pasta (food they hadn't had for a couple of weeks).

I would absolutely recommend this hotel to others, as long as a reasonable rate is available. It is not a 5 star, and so I don't think it merits 12K a night!
