in a dark street which is full of trash.some eateries nearby but they were all very dirty.we decided to go to bed hungry.
bed was okay, bathroom typical indian style - u get what you pay for. The chairs in the room were so dirty we didnt even put our suitcases on them, let alone sit on them.
The hotel driver took us to the wrong terminal even though clearly instructed what airline and what terminal to go to. When finally getting us to the correct terminal we almost missed our flight because so late. Then he was asking for extra money.
Complaints to the hotel by phone and email were friendly answered and it qas promised to take action against that driver.

I had a great stay at the Airport hotel during my my trip. it is well appointed, with excellent service provided by the staff, and nothing is too much trouble. It is a credit to the management that they have got it right. Highly recommended, and i would definately stay at the hotel again.

The Airport Inn is a fairly grotty basic hotel off the highway from Delhi airport. Even at the back of the hotel where our room was it was noisy.

The rooms are big with small bathrooms, neither of which were very clean. The water pressure of the shower was poor and some of the furniture was broken.

The security of the rooms was also dubious with a pathetic excuse for a lock on the bedroom doors. We had several visits by hotel staff to bring us pointless items we hadn’t requested (cups, combs, Indian women’s magazines at 1am?!) so they could ask for money. Staff don’t feel the need to knock and just walk in so be sure to double lock the door (as much as you can) and maybe push suitcases or furniture against the door. We also heard people (we suspect the staff) trying to enter the room during the night. It did not feel like a very safe hotel and we were glad to leave the next day.

The good things were breakfast which has a delicious selection of Indian foods and maybe the sparkly lobby.

At 14 km from Delhi international airport, I expected to have a good sleep after the flight.

On the positive, the reception staff do a good job of arranging airport pickups, drops, alarm calls & generally take care your requests.

On the negative, the pillows inside the cases were a dust-mite's paradise. Blankets & towels had an unwelcoming smell. I asked for an extra sheet, which was delivered wet. The young man had an attitude when I asked him for a dry one. In mid winter it the rooms get cold, but you have to hire an electric heater for 150 Rs per night. You have to ask some minutes in advance of a wash for them to switch on the boiler. Even then the water is still too cold.

All in all, 700 Rs is about the cheapest room in Delhi, so stay here if you need to sacrifice comfort for cost. I shall pay about twice this next time for a decent arrival bed before moving on to another part of India.
