I chose this time to stay here based on the feedback in tripadvisor. Excellent place to saty specially if you are looking for a homely atmosphere.

I must thank Sapon for taking good care and make the stay so good.

Good about the place : Very good location...rooms are clean ... and you have Sapon there to take care.

Well, I have to think hard to find the "improvement" areas.

Welcome:
We booked the day before arriving via e-mail after reading all the good reviews on here and recieved a reply almost instantly. Mony gave us good advice about how to get from the airport to the b&b and how much to pay for it.

Arrival:
Sapan and his wife greeted us and showed us to our room. A few minutes later, Mony arrived to greet us and arranged cheese sandwiches and chai and biscuits for us. He advised us on the area told us about places to visit in Delhi.

Facilities:
Our room was a clean and comfortable double with AC and bathroom, TV, lockable safe and fridge with bottled water.
Mony advised us during our stay that we were to be cooked a home made Indian meal by Sapan and his wife, complimentary, and were able to help ourselves to tea and coffee, complimentary. He said it pays to be nice!
The meal was delicious and the hospitality of Sapan and his family, exceptional.
There are 3 bedrooms in the b&b, a shared dining room, a kitchen and a lounge. The lounge has sofas and a TV (with sky) and is very comfortable to sit in in the evening.
There is free wifi throughout and a computer and printer to use in the dining room which is good when you need to book hotels and trains for future travel!

Location:
In New Delhi, about 2 minutes walk from 2 big malls - with food courts and Costa coffee etc.
A 5 minute tuk tuk ride away from the Metro (30 rupees) where you can get to Connaught Place in about 20 minutes. (Metro is about 1 hour from Old Delhi)

Sapan was very helpful in booking us taxis and directing our taxi driver to the b&b! His wife very kindly helped us with our Henna and was very attentive to our needs.
We loved our stay here and felt very 'at home' - we invited our friend over on one evening and Mony arranged for us to all have chai and snadwiches as we had a guest!

Mony came when new guests arrived as he was conscious of imposing on guests so welcomed them and then came when it was necessary.
On our final day our flight wasn't until 12pm at night and Mony emailed us to say that Sapan would let us keep our room for the day - free of charge - as he said good things happen when you're nice! This was very well recieved as we needed showers after a whole day in Delhi!!

We loved our stay and will definitely return when in Delhi!
Visit!!!

Mony and his staff was fantastic! I stayed one night and the place was immaculate, well located, and the staff even did my laundry and booked a cab at VERY short notice!

I will definitely be coming back when i'm next in town.

Room Tip: My room next to the kitchen was great

We stayed 2 nights at BnB Chrysalis. Mony and company made us feel right at home. We even got a private tour of the city in Mony's car. He also helped us get train tickets, which was no small feat. The BnB is a rickshaw away from the metro station and walking distance to a big mall. It also came with A/C and made to order eggs in the morning. Very relaxing stay!

Wonderful homestay in Delhi. Good points: clean bathroom and bedroom, spacious, very comfortable beds,TV and computer with printer in room, great AC, charming staff and owner. We loved having our own fridge for chilled water, tea and coffee complimentary, great breakfast. Opposite Saket Malls for good shopping. Easy to find for tuktuks as near Shearaton (our Shearaton - surely just as goood!!!) One of the best places we've stayed on our trip and highly recommened.
Negatives - slightly further out if if you want to be in the centre of town but easy metro close by or on a stop of the hop-on hop-off (HOHO) bus!
Thank you Mony and your team, we didn't want to leave!!!

Well, let me just say that my experience at BnB Chrysalis couldn't have been any nicer. I am now in Jaipur, and I have to say, I was spoiled by the outstanding warmth, generosity, comfort and hospitality I experienced on my first three and slightly anxious days in India. I really didn't want to leave, as Sapan and Mony were so utterly wonderful, and the location of the BnB was ideal.

The BnB is very close to a large and upscale shopping mall, City Walk and DLF Place, it was easy to obtain anything you might need when you first arrive, and there's a swanky upscale natural/import food store, Le Merchant or something- you can find a host of imported drinks and candies, organic food, etc. Also there is a very nice and modern hospital right down the street with a 24 hour pharmacy.

Plain and simple: if you want a top-notch, affordable, and comfortable start to your adventures in India, this is the place to come.

One of the best places we stayed at during our 2 week Indian tour. We started our journey here with an arranged pickup in the early dawn and got our room directly at 8 am at no extra charge including an additional breakfast. That's what I call service! In the evening we were invited for a complimentary dinner, something that was repeated also the last nights before our departure. :-) again drop off was arranged in a flawless manner. Definitely worth staying here individually for the company of kind hosts, excellent food and nice rooms. Together it is an unbeatable combination.
