We highly recommend Chhoti Haveli.Charming hostess, very welcoming to her pretty and very clean bed and breakfast. Our hostess arranged known cars for airport and station pickup and was most helpful in every detail of our stay.We would like to stay at Chhoti Haveli again when we visit New Delhi in the future. We stayed at the Chhoti Haveli at the beginning of our trip around Rajasthan, and immediately booked again for the last night of our trip.

It's a very homely place, and Surinder is an excellent hostess (and makes some amazing breakfasts). As some others have said, it's a way away from the centre (around 30 mins by car) - but with transport so cheap we didn't find this an issue. In fact we found it to our advantage, as it felt like a real oasis away from the hustle and bustle, and we found it good to stay in a more residential area rather than the more usual tourist enclaves. It's also convenient for some of Delhi's better sights, such as the Qutb Minar and Huyaman's Tomb. There's a great neighbourhood restaurant, "The Flaming Mustard" within easy walking distance, or Surinder has a comprehensive selection of places that you can order food in from.

If we return to Delhi we'd absolutely stay here again!

We stayed in Chhoti Haveli when we started our journey in India and we will return for the final days... we really advise this cause it only has 3 rooms that are completely clean and very well decorated... the responsable person Mrs Surinder will treat you as a son or daughter beeing with all the time making sure you get what u need ( taxi, tour , food , train )... as there are only 3 rooms u will feel like a family guest cause there will be plenty of time to chat and clarify all your doubts regarding Delhi without no 2nd intentions or extra charges... The breakfast is really nice and cooked while you are eating, it's located in the southern part of delhi , 30 min from center ( 150R in an autorickshaw ) but also away from the big noise and crowded streets...close to the airport ( 15 min drive )... it is really worth it, NO DOUBTS ABOUT THAT ! we booked directly with them by e-mail and you will get a really fast answer to all your doubts! Go for it.

At first I had booked an other B&B, but this was cancelled by the B&B owner a few days before my arrival. I was so lucky to find this place through a recommendation from other travellers.
Surinder and her husband Pawan did everything to let me feel comfortable. They had arranged my pick up on arrival, which was planned at 10.00 pm, but the train was almost 3 hours late. Both stayed up for me till 1.00am to make sure that everything was OK with me.
The room was simple, but nice with, for the first time in 2 weeks, a lot of daylight in the room and a balcony.
There ia a big living area, special for the guests, which I used a lot and I really felt at home. Surinder helped me also to plan my 2 days in Delhi and gave some excellent recommendations on where to go.
The only downside is maybe that it is a bit far from the centre. On the other hand, if you want to see the highlights of Delhi in a few days, you will need a car anyhow and it is near to the airport.
Thanks Surinder for taking so good care of me on my first time in Delhi.

Chhoti Haveli was the perfact place to stay for our first trip to India. It felt as though Surinder, the host, had all the time in the world to help us organise our time in Delhi and to answer any questions we had. The accommodation was delightfully designed, very clean, spacious and homely. The breakfasts were outstanding! We did not want to leave Chhoti Haveli but definately intend on going back!
