Description: Sattvik Restaurant is located in Select CITYWALK, Delhi's most exciting Shopping & Entertainment Destination situated in the heart of South Delhi. Need for a good fine-dining restaurant in South Delhi that serves only vegetarian food gave birth to the idea of this restaurant. Since it serves pure vegetarian food the name was derived from sattvika - relating to or endowed with the quality sattva (Sanskrit word referring to pure, true, genuine, honest, good, virtuous) Since it's inception in 2008 it has been a place where people come and relax and have a hearty meal and holistic fine dining experience.

This is a vegetarian restaurant, and I being a veggie was delighted to see a place like this at the mall. Unfortunately the food is quite average. I feel that it tastes more like home cooked food that I have everyday at home rather than the restaurant style meals that you'd rather have when you step out.

Being a hardcore non vegetarian, it’s a tad tough to review pure vegetarian places but no harm giving it a try :).

The service at Satvik is fairly decent and the ambience is good too. As far as the food is concerned; the Dahi ke sholay/kabab is excellent and they also have an interesting way of doing the okra and the yellow Dal (lentil).

The let down is that the food is extremely greasy, and most of the vegetables get overdone in excess oil.

Vegetarians can give it a try, not because it’s fine dining but because Satvik has a fairly elaborate vegetarian spread and such restaurants are far and few in the city.

This is a restaurant catering to rich veg Indians . Decor and ambience is nice, but wait till u see the menu, am sure u will be surprised to see the food prices. Prices will shock the hell out of you. And when u finally taste the food u will be disappointed as same kinda food is available outside for jus 30% of the price , these ppl r charging. Skip it and eat at the mall's food court , which has got same or better tasting Indian food available

The place looked very inviting as we strolled in the Mall but food was not as good as expected. However, it doesnt mean that the food wasn't good, it was nice, we had a good lunch but nothin exotic, may be we did not make the right choice so we will give it one more try and choose different items from the menu and then give another review.

Sattvik is a pure vegetarian restaurant inside the soulless City Walk mall. Food is reasonably priced for Delhi and portions are generous, but the quality does not match the fancy decor. My cauliflower and spinach main course was overcooked, with rather stale cauliflower, the fried cheese starter was greasy, and the roti rolls were dry and tasteless. The lettuce garnish was curly and brown. The daal tasted like it had been thickened with flour and it was heavily over-salted. Sattvik is OK if you happen to be out shopping but it's not worth a detour.
